I'm in work but really busy so will do my hello's and questions later!
Just want to say, that I am so proud of myself for abstaining last night, I feel great(ish) and so so so want an AF day today, just wish that beer bell wouldn't ring and make everything so crap.
I will attempt to hold my hands over your ears - (virtually) and maybe you can kick my butt too??
xx

Hi Everyone,
Had a drink on Sunday night but that was the only drinking day I had for the two weeks up to it. Didn't particularly enjoy it and spent the following morning with a mild hangover (it'd be so much better without the hangover) I've had a look and had a total of 4 days drinking in March which is probably the best I've had in a long time ; )
Therefore I'll be 27 days AF for March and I've met the target.
Suppose its time to set Aprils target - I still think abstaining is my best bet - alcohol really doesn't do anything for me and I'd be better of without it. Its benefits are generally just an illusion
Therefore I think I will set myself a challenge of the full month AF

...sneaks in at the back of the room....serial lurker on this thread :hello:.
DH asked in local H and B for Kudzu and was told they didn't stock it, so will have to buy online. Trouble is I cant seem to be able to find out what strength all the different brands are. So what brands are you all using and how strong is it?

Just reading about that 25yr old guy that collapsed and died after doing jogging on his wii fit (didn't know you could jog on it) I'm hoping my step and yoga that I do on it is safe!!
Watching Corrie last night and was affected badly by Peter and the fire thing, it puts it all into perspective. I think he plays an amazing alcoholic, didn't think much of him years ago but he's grown in the part fantastically....I see myself in him quite often
Budgie, I wished I'd seen that Secret Millionaire the other night, does anyone know if it's on the Channel 4 replay thing?
Fay, prepare for some serious a*** kicking tonight
Ms London, sorry to hear your news about the job. Good for you deciding to do some volunteering though, where are you going to do it?
115K, congrats on hitting your target!! :T

Glasgow Girl, I shall also be getting the Alan Carr book out this evening! Good luck for April and well done for the days you’ve achieved in March :T
FUAS, what can I say!! Fantastic news and well done on hitting your target! :T
Stroppy, I’ve only got 2 legs and will be busy kicking Fay and WB this evening, but if you fancy an intermittent kicking I will happily obligeIt is really hard at times mate but I must say yesterday I was very down in the dumps, low self-esteem and generally feeling carp, but one day off the booze and the haze has started to lift already (can’t speak to tonight!). Good luck and stick with us
xx
GC thanks, as always, for your inciteful postsPlease could you tell me how you managed to change ‘you’ cos I would love to try this but don’t know where to start. I have had CBT and other types of counselling (physiotherapists etc.) in the past which has helped me to delve into my thoughts and ‘reasons’ for drinking. I learnt a lot, but this has not changed ‘me’ significantly enough to make a difference?
Maman, you have done a great job this month, well done in exceeding your target and good luck for next month! :T
Lillibet Dripping, welcome on board and good luck with your cutting down/quitting. Why not join next months quest, pick how many days alcohol free (AF) you’d like to be and get your scores on the board!! Keep posting
MP, if I don’t speak to you before, enjoy your break, your birthday and your anniversary!! You will be back for the big 1 year celebration though won’t you? Xx
Nirelandguy, welcome and good luck cutting down/quitting, how are you doing?
Miss P, glad to hear that things are getting easier for you
Lurks, yoo hoo
Noynoy, sorry to hear about your card being cloned, what happened did you get charged? x
Spider, did you finish that wine
Eselt, hope you’re okay hunny? Xx
Hope I’ve not missed anyone, if I have, sorry it’s not intentional

Jon, well done!!! Good luck for next month
FC, get back in here right now!! Don't you be sneaking anywhere!! I have no idea about the strengths involved with Kudzu, I just bought the only one they sell at H&B. If you buy online you can get cashback through QuidcoGood luck and stick around and get to know us, we don't bite!! (Much
)

Yes H&B only sell the one strength. My local H&B stocks it but you can buy it online from them too.
There are other places online that sell a slightly stronger dosage I think but I can't say where or what it is or what it is like as haven't used them myself;) .0
