Good Morning Everyone,
Hope you are all ok.
Fedupandskint ...Go for number one on your list. You really can have a good time without getting drunk.Just keep in mind the hangover you are avoiding. It is nearly a year now since I had a drink but I can still remember the last hangover very clearly.......it was during this that I made the decision never to drink again.
Waking up with a clear head and a lovely sunny day ahead of you is a much nicer feeling than drinking alcochol!!!!
Welcome to the thread barneydee and good luck with cutting down/giving up.
Budgetbabe ...thanks for your posts..you put alot of time and effort into them, and always seem to remember everyone in them....dont know how you do it;)
Jo ......Hope you are ok and still hanging in there.
Lots of peeps missing on here...Lurky,BHB,GP, YM,Shoppy etc....Where are you all
Take care everyone and have a good day.

Hello and welcome barneydee
I am sure you will find this thread helpful. I am quite new myself and never thought I would manage even 1 day AF on my first month joining the challenge [this month] I envisaged myself quietly scurrying away with my head hanging in shame never to be heard of in here again :rotfl: But, I have exceeded my low target I set for myself because my pride wouldn't let me fail:rolleyes:
I understand what you are going through with your daughter and it doesn't help at all and makes you need a drink sometimes!!! One of my three was what I called 'a wild child' for want of a better expression. He put us through years of hell and stress, but is now 25, got a mortgage, a dog and cat, got engaged recently, and is happier in B&Q buying things to do his little house up with than going out on the tiles all night :T The light at the end of the tunnel is there but sometimes it feels as if it is a long time coming
Good luck with the cutting down0 -
