Whoops - ended up going out last night so no AFD yesterday - daft thing is I didn't really enjoy it and wish I hadn't bothered. Still I got plenty exercise in and drank less than I normally would. Starting to really believe I'd be better of going Teetotal though

Hi NTC and everyone
Can you put me down for 7 AF days please (Saturday & Sunday). Was out on Friday night with a friend and had far too much to drink so felt really poorly yesterday. Going to try for AF days for the rest of this week now as am totally mortified, even started a row with my best friend because she wanted to get me home safely!:o I suppose i'm not used to going out as DH and I normally just have a drink in front of the telly but its a very poor excuse really.Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0 -
Me again NTC - sorry that should be 8 AF days altogether - just checked my signature.Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0

Hi everyone, :hello:
Just back from a craft fair, there were also log cabin shops. I ventured into one which had an array of: wines, whiskies, vodkas etc. Quite a nice idea that you buy a bottle, which are available in different designs eg: star, motorcycle, hearts etc. They then fill it for you and write a message on the bottle.
But how cool that I wasn't tempted and didn't even take up the offer of free tasting. (Even a little sip can be dangerous).
So Angelic status still in tact. :A
Btw I got up this morning with the sun shining and thought how great not to have a hangover. Instead of wasting the day feeling below par I've had a nice day just mooching around not spending a fortune, but still a lovely day.
Got a couple of small gifts to put away for Christmas, I am so gonna be organised this year.
Wbf sorry meant to say thankyou for the link, worrying is my problem but my friend has brought me a fancy jasper bracelet for my birthday later this month. The stones properties help with worrying so we shall see? Thanks again and take care. Hugs xxxxx
Bis absolutely lovely reply, no one could say anything better. Lots of love to you, take care and hugs.xxxxx
Jo I have not seen the Jade programme but my heart goes out to her and her family. To have boys so young and know you will never see them grow into the person they will be is so so sad. What angers me is the negative comments that alot of people are making, surely Jade deserves credit for raising awareness of cervical cancer. But as in life there are always people to twist the knife, I hope that she can at least have some peace as her days come to an end. On a happier note you are doing so well, so take care and big hugs, xxxxx
Sea sorry you are down sweetheart but just look how well you are doing, keep up all your good work and please take care. Hugs xxxxx
Winebox hugs to you and remember small steps, you have had so much to cope with of late. But please take care and look after yourself. Hugs xxxxx
Fay sounds like you've all had alot of fun today, don't let them wine bells get you sweetheart. Take care, big hugs. xxxxx

Evening all
NTC 13 for me please
Must admit, even if I WAS drinking I wouldn't fancy it! Still feeling very poorly so am off to see Nursie tomorrow. Hoping she will syringe my ears so won't be deaf (got worse over the weekend so now have to have subtitles on the tele!!!!!) and give me something for this damned virus. Just can't shake it and have been like a zombie all weekend.
Good news is me and mum are ok now. She's away this weekend for her 60th birthday - Dad taken her to Cornwall to the Eden project and they are off to Rick Steins restaurant tonight. Alright for some!
Am going to catch up on the thread shortly. Hugs to anyone that needs them and well done to all of you working hard on AFM!!

Fay re: those jingling bells, on the film a wonderful life they say that every time you hear a bell ring its an Angel getting their wings :A
Guess you've already earned yours, now if only we can convert those other devils, (Trc I'm thinking of you :-)
And yes labelling the freezer :rotfl::rotfl:You'll be putting your cd's in alphabetical order next. Oh lordy
