YOUR CHALLENGE HOUSEMATES IS TO SAY IF YOU COULD TRAVEL BACK IN TIME WHICH ONE SINGLE THING WOULD YOU CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE?

I've been toying with my answer, inititally and immediately I thought, I wish I hadn't picked up that first drink....but we all know that it wasn't the first drink that was the problem, it's the keeping on doing it to excess that has got me in the situation I'm in now....it was a progressional thing.

So, no, I have to go with saying that I wished I'd been a nicer teenager to my parents, I worshipped the ground my dear ole dad (god rest his soul) walked on and made things very difficult for him and my mum during my more rebellious phases  luckily I've been able to make it up to my mum over the years as she's still here but my dad died when I was 21 and hadn't had much of a chance to make amends :(

Excellent question to pose though, gonna have me thinking all day now!!

Not one thing, I live with the consequences of my life both good and bad. They make me the person I am, unable to change my past and able only to change my future

What would I change - not to take notice of other people when it wasn't in my best interests to do what they wished - basically people pleasing - it never got me anywhere and you just end up getting treat like sh*t. Its only know that I'm starting too change and realise it : (

    Hi all
What would I change? I wouldn't have allowed drunken fights to break up my 16yr relationship with DS's dad- he was the love of my life.

Fluffyb- had to have a liedown when I read your exercise regime, I kinda knew exercise was the answer-can I assume dashing out the room during the ad breaks to pop the kettle on isn't enough .....................

Jo- I've been taking this oats stuff, but I might get some proper kudzu and check that out instead.

Well done on the AFD's everyone-really impressive this week. Catch you later.

    OK GUYS,

NOW I CAN REVEAL THE SECRET CHALLENGE :shhh:
    IT IS TIME TRAVEL ;)

YOUR CHALLENGE HOUSEMATES IS TO SAY IF YOU COULD TRAVEL BACK IN TIME WHICH ONE SINGLE THING WOULD YOU CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE?

hmmmmm.... I'd like to say that I'd have stuck at the education thing, but then there would have been a chance that I might not have met the lovely Esther....... so that one's out.

I think it would be to pay less attention to a certain someone who didn't do an awful lot for me, but I held them in high regard at the time.... that cryptic enough for ya????

Any room on that bench?

:DNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh :D
  • Hi all

I wish I had been wanted as a child and been told I was loved instead of feeling like the most incovienent accident on the planet.

I look at my own daughter and her bounce and her confidence and feel a bit robbed to be honest.

(not by her or her brother - they have been slathered in affection and love - I just wonder could I have been like that?)

My mother has never told me she loves me, ever. She is the most self obsessed disengaged person I know - doesnt do 'people'. I dont want to offend anyone and I am not making statements to be bold sorry - I can't imagine how much she has missed out. Silly woman.

TMI? Probably sorry I just wanted to be honest!!
