Hi everyone
Over the last few days every day I tell myself how many more days I can drink in March and still hit my target - (now 2) So crunch time creeps closer and closer but every day except 1 so far this month I have given in to temptation. The funny thing is now I have this target I know how rarely I 'want'/manage an AFD it occurs to me that AFDs were very thin on the ground last year apart from my brief spurt of achievement for 6 days. Scary thought that, they may have been my only ones in 2008? Years ago someone said she wouldn't worry too much as long as you are having at least 2 AFDs a week. And in my head I somehow knew I wasn't but kind of didn't look at it clearly or think it meant me or something. Very odd, like a thing that keeps sliding out of view when you turn to look at it or something. And this target is backing me into a smaller and smaller place with it and I can't pretend I don't see it any more.
BBabe, you made me laugh about worrying about worrying - thought python might make you giggle http://lyricsplayground.com/alpha/songs/i/imsoworried.shtml
noy noy, you're doing so well, the longest you've managed in 3 years is really good. It's not odd to feel down and odd at 3 days apparently, I did too and others on here said it takes that long for it to work out of our system.
Off to work out how to transform into one of the angels for today...https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6621582/ynab-robber-needs-help-to-execute-the-plan/p1

9/13 for me NTC, and 6 in a row hurrah! Not sure about this weekend, am contemplating cycling to the thing I'm going to tonight 'cos then I won't drink, but we'll see. By the say, I can recommend cycling for anybody who can't bear the thought of the gym but wants to shift some lard, I'm eating twice as much since I became a bike commuter a year ago (c.15 miles a day) and seem to be shrinking rather alarmingly at the mo, but that might also be due to fewer alcohol calories I s'pose. Anyway, toodle-oo, see you Monday.
And just a thought to April, do we think GP will reappear to do the scores on the doors, or shall I volunteer? Or am I misremembering about GP and April? I might have to impose some strict rules about not declaring AF before midnight mind, else I'll be awfully confused

I'm off to a spinning class at 9am then going to do Legs,Bums and Tums - not sure its a blokes class but can give it a try can't I. I have a little bit of a beer belly yo get rid of. Off for a swim later so will be another AFD. Going to try to get caught up with posts. It's good to be without hangoverDMP mutual support thread member: 275
