Wow, it's been quite a week this week, I am exhausted. I don't know if it's cos I'm not drinking so my mind is more aware of it all :rotfl:

Jo hi - as NTC says you're doing brilliantly :T . Are the cravings lessening a bit?

  • Hi Jo

NTC sorry I was rubbish last night and had wine - I may need to lock myself in a cupboard or something.

Kudzo arrived yesterday - will take more of that today.

Hope the rest of you are being angels not little devils like me.

Sorry troups. Dunno why I am so stressed out at the mo - not working very effectively at my own work and having brother up to visit is difficult (he is working on a contract up here) - which is ace for him and its lovely to see him BUT- he doesn't DO anything just kinda lurks about the place needing *sigh* interacting with. We dont have a telly in the main room so I guess its a bit odd for him (although he has one in his room) - he doesnt read or anything its like having a person needing babysat in the house.

OMG I am so horrible. He's really lovely and helpful but I find the intrusion just a bit too - ? not sure what I mean - we are just very very different.

I am not very good with ineffectual people - I find this whole 'I am not in the way thing by doing absolutely nothing' really difficult. I guess living on your own makes you a bit independant and self centred?

Sorry - rant over - he's wonderful, I am acting like a child for some reason.

Promise to try harder - sorry for dumping this here I know its a trigger I just can't fathom out why.

Answers on a post card if you can stand me after this rant. Argh

Have decided to go for it tonight with some AF lager - so any best buys that you can recommend?

Looking for taste rather than cheap !

Have found bitburger drive the best so far, but nobody round here stocks it. So what would be the next best thing in your opinions?

    Thanks

hi all - great to see so many positives on here! :)

I'm having a MUCH better March than Feb - something seems to have 'clicked'.

I've just had my 9th AFD yesterday of March, and today should be the 10th :) I'm on quite heavy duty painkillers so would otherwise have a drink tonight, but bonus extra AF days instead :)

So I'd like to aim for 20/31 AFDs in March, if I may and have done 9/31 so far.

Much love and support to all

AFD 4 for me today I'm safe now. Today was fine but overall it's very hard work.....a day or 2 is OK but I can't sustain the effort! Slightest feelig of "I fancy a drink" & I give in, not even what you'd call a craving. Next week am going to try much harder, I'm falling well behind. On the way home I couldn't resist a £12 bottle of wine reduced to £6 - way outside my usual stuff - but detoured to OH's & left it there. Don't think I'd have had it tonight but taking no chances!

Early night coming up - woke with a real start thinking I'd overslept as it was so bright but it was 4a.m. & I'd left the bedside light on. Couldn't get off again!
Hope to pop in tomorrow but if not have a good weekend all but beware the ides of March, (infamy, infamy, they've all got it infamy......) Your cue Lurky......

edit - sorry Sea, hi there, & well done! & hi bhb too

    Hi everyone, :hello:

BsNtc sorry I have not been about much but I ventured into the diary room and then ..................
Well shall we say: "secret mission"? ;)
The official take on my disappearance is that it is due to me being so exhausted.
Re: the above: YOU DECIDE ;)
