Just had a thought, alcohol has not passed my lips for 82 hours so I have no alcohol in my body :D

BHB, remember when you used to count the hours!

Just how long does it take before all the alcohol leaves your body if for example you sit and have 6 vodkas of an evening? Will it be gone by next day lunchtime, teatime or later than that?

Not sure how accurate this is BB but I seem to remember it being one hour per one unit of alcohol so that would be 6 hours from when you finish assuming that you have poured very small official unit vodkas:eek: Scary eh

VERY scary. It was one of the things that really shocked me when I joined this thread. It didn't occur to me that most bottles of wine nowadays are about 10 units. If you're drinking till midnight that could take till 10 the next morning to clear your system (at least).

Well, something snapped this weekend - after yet another almighty bender, a lot of which I don't remember, but plenty of others do, something clicked into place in my head. I am now on 3rd night in a row with no alcohol - don't remember doing that yet this year, so that's whatever I was on plus another 3. Not going to make my target, but I had no idea just how much of a habit the drinking had become! At the moment I just feel terrible - not really feeling any benefits yet!!

Same here. I had a bender at the weekend and am now on day 3 without any booze and feeling like carp. I know I will feel better after 4 days AF free though.

It will be 12 days for me now Winebox.

I am upping the ante for AF March and my target will be 25 days AF!

I hope you are all okay everyone.:A
