GP, Couldn't resist looking at your nerdy graph. It really shows how well you're doing and at what a fantastic rate of progress, well done you.

Is it all through lack of empty calories in alcohol and the gym or are you having food free days too??

Hi all- great effort everyone. Miss P, I think we've all been there with toddlers- my lad used to be so bad in supermarkets he'd arch rigid and I would just have to drop everything and carry him out (still rigid!!!- god knows what people used to think). Then at home it could sometimes feel like chinese water torture, and I had to keep checking myself that this was just a curious child who asked lots of questions. My eldests temper tantrums were legendary, and every time we went out the house for a while was a massive battle- really got me down. But now I'm happy to report he's a smashing 15 yr old- kind, thoughtful, looks after his friends, worries about his elderly relatives and visits without being asked too- he's always been a bit hyperactice and I must say it ground me down when the kids were little, but I look at him now and think 'why was I ever worried- he's a great kid', but at the time I remember wanting to pull my hair out and it made me quite depressed. Take care, and make sure you get some relaxation time for yourself.

Scores on the doors are looking good guys, 10/10 for me please winebox, hope everyone else is where they want to be. Glad you are feeling better fedup.

Just to say well done GP- amazing weight loss- any chance of posting your meal plans so I can see where I'm going (so horribly) wrong?

    6AF for me please, winebox.

Didn't find it too hard tonight. Strangely, it doesn't bother me to sit with OH drinking his beer after supper while I've got a big glass of water. What really makes me long to open a bottle is seeing them all in the bar at Holby. I want to join in!! I'm sure alcohol will be banned from TV programmes soon.

Well done everyone if you've been AF today and if you haven't I hope you enjoyed it (don't beat yourself up, every AF day is probably one more than most of us had in 2008).

To everyone else have a good evening, my Allen Carr book has arrived but the print seems small, think it may be time for an eye test.

maman - know what you mean about drinking on tv its on every programme nearly. Saturday Kitchen is one of my favs and the start on the wine at 10am:eek: I doubt they will ever ban drinking on tv though its so ingrained in our society (mind you i guess smoking was a few years ago too)

Well done GP on the weight loss long may it continue:T
    29th Feb Quit Day :j
  • Had my first February drinks yesterday so 9/10 for me. Only 2 glasses of wine tho' when I would normally have necked a bottle and chased them down with some pints. Still feel a bit annoyed at myself tho'.
