  • Evening all

Bad day for me today. Long story but mostly revolving round a toddler that has suddenly turned into the spawn of the devil.

Have opened a bottle tonight but am determined not to down the whole thing!

    Hope everyone else is ok.

  • Miss P - how about one for you - one for the sink?
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

  • ps Miss P - ratboy was called ratboy until he was 5 - there was a reason for this - he was truely dreadful for most of the time - thankfully (touch wood) he's mostly quite human now - it does get better xx

  • Thanks Fay! Think the wine is going to be left by the wayside anyway. Feel too emotional to drink....sounds silly I know but when things are really tough I do tend to turn away from drink. Course, I could just be plain wierd!

Glad to know my one isn't the only one like it. Sometimes, stuck at home, things can seem horrendous. I'm really glad I go to work of a day, if only for a few hours. Puts things in perspective.

And retail therapy DOES help ;) Sparkly slippers are lovely!!! (hubby did look at them with an "Oh my god, what the hell are THEY" look on his face :rotfl: )

    I'm on 4/28 now. *sigh*

Me too Sea ...chin up, there is still time to meet your target :T

Or you could flex your target downwards, so it is more achievable. Remember that 4 days is a good achievement, and not everyone is just going to just say, "right I'm stopping" and never drink again. Think of it like Kelloggs bran flakes...a step in the right direction :D
