I drank all the beer in the house last night (that sounds bad....I actually only bought enough for last night :rotfl:), but I forgot OH bought a box of beer and a box of cider for us to take to a friends house last week but we ended up not going and now it's in the boot of my car. I've no interest in the cider but there's 18 bottles of becks out there in the cold boot :eek:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

Ahhh let them sleep. They are probably really comfy in there so why not let them beSee how long you can leave them in there.
Why not have a comp with me and see who's lasts longer. My can in the fridge or your Becks.

Whilst I've never thought of myself as having an issue with alcohol not only has my dad had his fight with it but my stepfather and mum are definitely over the line on the dependance... I used to enjoy a glass but could happily do without - unless I was out with friends - then I felt boring if I didn't have a glass... apart from odd glass of bubbly I haven't had a glass for oooooo 16 weeks... since finding out I was pregnant
Not recommending that to anyone as a solution btw! But by golly - that's a wake up call and a half! Still tough not to have just one when I am out with friends but it IS doable
Stay strong all and if anyone asks just say you are detoxing as your new years resolution!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

take them out of the house now.
you're at huge risk now and getting rid is the easiest thing to do if you want to start off well.
small steps that help make a huge differenceFor what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -

I know that feeling but if you don't waste it, it will have no qualms about wasting you.For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
Mrs Tine, this is what I was pondering with the other day as one of our posters on here 'Shoppy' is now pregnant, thought maybe I should have another go (got 3 already ) to stop me drinking! Hmmmm maybe not, not got the house room anyway :rotfl: good luck with your pregnancy
YM, love a challenge!!!

I need to be focused this time as for the last 4 months or so I have had a pain intermittingly, like stich, right hand side below my ribs. I now know that is where my liver is and I need to stop the 10-12 cans a night when I am not working.
I have beaten smoking so CAN do this
