I drank all the alcohol in the house last night aswel! (a half bottle of wine, and one of those mini bottles I got at christmas and I finished off the Tia Maria) I don't have anything in that I like now so thats got to help. My boyfriend finishes being on call today at 6pm so he is looking forward to a beer then, so I think tonight is going to be the hardest night, but Im feeling really positive.I will be on here ALOT tonight I think!!£100 - £10,0000

Made it! Did not have a drop of alcohol in 2008 (except maybe the early hours on January 1st but hey it was a leap year!). 366 days of sobriety and it went great!
As mentioned before, I recommend getting a calendar and X each day and not breaking the chain. When all those Xs fill a whole month it'll show you what's possible.
After 4 months I didn't bother with filling in the calendar anymore. Within a few weeks, it was normal to be sober.
You absolutely can quit booze if you want to.
Happy New Year,

Hi all- found you at last, new year, new start , potential new life for us...hurrahh!!!
Jo, move away from the car, don't let that stuff sing to you all day, give it away, Bis is right, it's got no qualms wasting you...take it from me, you are worth more than 18 bottles of becks, so tough love I'm afraid, bin the bloody stuff.
So, we are where we are today, let the challenge begin!!!! Come on everyone, lets do this, this is a win win situation- and so easy to achieve- Don't buy or drink much alcohol, save money, be a nicer person to be around, don't worry your family or freinds, get healthier, fitter, slimmer, stay sane....why wouldn't anyone want this?
Polaroid, you OK? We're all here for you hun.0 -

Oh yeah.....Happy New Year!
If you don't want to bin it, give it away. Then it's not such a waste. If you keep it the song gets louder...and I'm talking as someone who could hear the song from behind the counter at the shop half a mile away if I chose to listen.
This is war.. There will be casualties but the end justifies the means.
Take care. For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070
