Wasn't AF last night so on 8 of a possible 16, 50%..... really can't let it slip to less than half so a conservative effort shall be made this evening, planning a vid with chocolate and gonna buy some decaf douwe egberts so I can drink coffee all night and not hinder the beauty sleep :D

Glad to hear that you're mostly doing well :)

  • Hi everyone :hello:

11/16 for me please Lurkio. Big difference in how I feel today compared to yesterday morning. I am ready to take on the world:D I think I am going to have to cut down even more than I planned for originally because cutting down this much has really lowered my tolerance. Yesterday I managed a work lunch as the only non drinker. (Another first and certainly a first for me having orange and soda in the pub:o ) Got a fairly positive response but I think that was more because I did say I was cutting down and not giving up. It seems to panic people if they think you are giving up:confused:

So day off the wagon for me again today but i have no intentions of having a head like Friday so it will be a mix of alcoholic and non alcoholic when I am out (which is something I never did, once I had had my first drink alcohol would be all that would pass my lips:eek: )

Well done to all the giving up/cutting downers and good luck for the weekend.

    hugs to winebox

Thank you all so much for your kind posts - wot a great bunch you are. I've not even peeped in since last Tues so have been catching up, on the whole the news seems to be good - the momentum of everyone joining in is incredible, being an old cynic I thought there would be mysterious disappearances along the way.

Eselt, I am so pleased you're back & OK - all sorts of thoughts were going through my head. Some of them involved you having a fortnight in the sun, others less pleasant, & the reality was pretty bad - I was very sorry to read your news. You've been far stronger than me - one blip & you're back on the wagon. My blip seems to be lasting, erm, rather a long while.

I'll be back on the wagonette (the cutter-downers' vehicle) on Monday - I've gotta go some for the rest of the month to make target.

Lurky just thinking of you really mate, saving you the effort of updating my score.

I only kept my 100% womo clause intact by inviting myself round to OH's on Thursday night :o & "luckily" friends came round last night....but none of that next week, promise!

Feels good to be back, thanks again everyone for your thoughts x

Morning everyone, I am on 15/16 I had a glass of wine last night! But I have to admit I really enjoyed one small glass and then switched to juice, the rest of the bottle is in the fridge, and Im not drinking tonight, which is probably going to be a challenge as saturday night the kids are at their dads, and an open bottle  but I know I can do it:D
