:hello: Hey everyone! :hello: Hello to all newbies!

Throwing £1 in to the Cosmotini mug this morning as the smEgg website's down AGAIN! Must be all our payments causing the website to crash! :rotfl: I almost begrudge paying them as they never credit my account quick enough causing the interest to creep on grr. I'm still waiting on payments to clear from last week!

Money will be tight leading up to pay day as I need to get a trip to the dentist in but managed to find an NHS dentist taking on new patients so should make it a bit cheaper!

    Nearly HUMP day people!

    xx

  • that's great news! well done xxx

i think most women with kids love a good gross out birth story...i know i do! i have 2 sons, first birth was not great, second was easy peasy in comparison but funny how even years later the experience is so VIVID. i know people say you forget, but i certainly haven't!

    :rotfl: Tomtom
My girls (first two) were both fine, no problems at all.#3 and my first boy...
Id only gone to the hossy for an antenatal.Consultant wanted him out from 37 weeks and tried getting me in for induction which I refused.
Anyway I went for a check up at 12pm, I was holding my ds by 2pm ;)
Dh came running in literally seconds before he was born as hed been at work, dont think hes ever been so confused :D

    #4 and ds 2.
After such a quick labour with #3 I was petrified I wouldnt get to the hospital in time, was told it would probably be faster this time:eek:
I begged my consultant for a c section (I was really suffering depression and just couldnt face it again) so was booked for 39 weeks on the monday.

I knew I wouldnt get that far so at 38 weeks I took myself to labour ward and demanded to be admitted :o
The consultant saw me that morning and brought the section forward to the next day :T (im sure she thought id gone mad:rotfl: )

Ds#4 had other ideas and 5 mins after the consultant walked off the ward labour started, contractions every 2 minutes and by the time they got me to labour ward 10 minutes later it was all go
Luckily labour ward was where my consultant had dissapeared to and knowing how scared I was about the whole thing she took me straight to theatre and called the crash team in
Ok thats the second I decided I actually WASNT being cut open
So they anesthetist gave me a spinal (omg could have kissed him) and ds was born in theatre, on my own with just my consultant and anesthetist (inc about 5 theatre staff) lol
Dh got a MMS with a pic of his new son and he hadnt even known I was in labour it was so fast. Last he'd heard I was having a c section the next day and he was home with the other 3.

On both boys they were born at 2pm and 3pm and I was home by 9pm both times :j

OMG I can ramble, will shut up now with huge apologies to FF and the boys on here :o

    Ok Pad for today is............£43.89

    AND...........................................
CRAPITAL CON IS PAID OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, couldnt help myself :o

Welcome to the newbies and thanks for the totals FF
    Keep it up guys

Thinking about what to give up for lent:confused:
as I feel as if i've already stopped all the unnecessary spends:A , like toiletries, magazines etc.

I will be giving up chocolate, as usual,:EasterBun
but that won't make a huge difference moneywise.
Think I might make it ebay an item a day for Lent wich should help with the general house declutter!

Mumof4 - congrats on paying off the card!!! Must be a satisfying feeling. Your birth story has worried me now that my third will come quickly - had thought about that already anyway!
