Wow thats a massive total, well done everybody!

I haven't made my PAD yet - it'll only be a small one I think. I was lying in bed this morning thinking and realised I have about a hundred quid 'spare' (you know what I mean - it'll take me up to the limit again) on my 0% overdraft. I'm considering using that to pay a big chunk out of my smaller credit card to bring that down a bit quicker. It makes sense I know because of the interest rates... any thoughts?
If I do it won't be till the end of the month just in case I end up needing that money - worked out I should only need to spend about another £10/20 on food so I should be ok but you never know what crops up.
    Will update later with PAD
    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

That sounds like a good plan to me Silaqui best to pay it off the one charging interest, but as you say, leave it where it is for now, just in case.

    My Happy Valentine's Pad = £10.14 :happylove

    Have a good day peeps

    Great total yesterday!

Didn't have much for my PAD but since DH decided to skip College yesterday I have put the £5 he would have used for bus and tram fares towards my PAD. Plus some change including 1p I found on the street... I must be mad but keep looking down wherever I go in case there are some pennies to be found - every little helps!

    Total PAD today £6.92

Happy Valentines day all - me and OH also decided on just cards this year. I bought the little one a wee teddy from card shop for 99p so he didn't feel left out when we were giving each other cards. I left it on the end of his bed last night when he was asleep and when he woke this morning he decided the Easter bunny was moonlighting as the Valentine's day bunny as he had left him a teddy :rotfl: it was priceless.

Having a romantic meal at home tonight. Got the M&S meal and have enough for 3 different dinners as I got the Camembert with brushetta which we will have as a supper tea one night as it has a sell by date of 7 March and we will do it with home made bread etc. Then the steak and veg we are using during the week for a meal as I had already made Goulash for tonight yesterday. We had the cava last night as we have two bottles of cava from the xmas M&S offer that we are going to use and the pudding we are having tonight after the goulash - a bit like a rubber chicken in a way lol. I also scored as I am an M&S card holder and had a 10% off voucher. I was expecting £2 of the price but fgot £3.30 off as they added up the total of the goods before teh deal (which was £33.00) and then took of the 10% and then did the deal:T . Must remember that for future lol.

Anyway enough ramblings from me - bet your glad I have't been posting much recently. Onto important business £3 for me for yesterday and another £3 today so that £6 for PAD today
  • yes come to think of it i noticed that too, maisie - i only had a 5% off but instead of it being a pound (5x20), it was about 1.60! we are going to be greedy piggies though and have all the food in one go!
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
