Hi everyone, thanks tomtombeanie, double trouble, pippo and Fag_ash_lil for the welcome! I've got lots of debt to get rid of so will probably be here for a while!
Trying to get a new job as I've been doing shop work for the past two and a half years after finishing my degree. I was on a PG teaching course but gave it up recently as it wasn't for me- I love working with kids but I'm not great at being the teacher! Finding it hard to know what to do with myself and need to get rid of these debts:rolleyes:.
As for this mad thread, I'm already feeling quite at home....:TSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

Thanks for asking.

It must be a very worrying time for her and all your family ..... Am very pleased to hear that they will be taking the lump out and not taking the whole breast .....Hopefully the next 10 days or so will pass quickly as i would imagine her " stress levels " will be sky high ......
Does she live near you ?

As I'm still up, I've just made a Saturday PAD of
£2.14
to a credit card.
I'm keeping them low at the moment becausae I willneed to spend money on my van next week due to MOT time. I already know that my bare minimum spend will need to be £250 - that's without other stuff that I may not be aware of. That's on top of the £200+ for some tyres a couple of weeks back. There's also a service due but that will have to keep until next month sometime.
It sounds bad but it doesn't feel so awful when it's a work van. At least I will (eventually) get tax relief on most of it.0 -
