Glad to see the usual antics...it wouldn't be PADville without it!!
Didn't get to post yesterday, so double-PAD today £1.09+£1.10 = £2.19 to Egg. Glad to see this is coming down at last!!
Half term for us next week and am planning to take a few days off with the kids. So, I was wondering whether you lovely people had some suggestions for something to do along the 'family day out' theme. It'll me, OH and three kids 17, 14 & 12. I've allowed £100 in the budget for this (a treat for all of us for being so careful with the money since I turned into the Mega-Penny Pincher). All ideas welcome...the more the better!

oohh lovely! when we have a half term week, we try to plan about 3 days out (maybe mon, wed, fri) and then have home days tues and thurs for baking, playing in the garden, recovering from days out etc. your kids are a bit older than mine though, but could still be a game day (or wii tournament if you have or can borrow one) or cooking activity.
do they like walking? (like picnic day out on a trail type day?) or orange wed 2-4-1 on a wednesday if applicable? any good bowling deals near you? (our local bowling place does some good ones). any museums that interest you that are cheap/free followed by a meal ?
sorry if rubbish suggestions for your ages, mine are nearly 4 and nearly 8 & still very easy to please!Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

Oh you charmer!!Dont know what i would do without this thread at the
minute for cheery moments. Tbh we dont really do valentines either but DH
insists on at least a romantic meal and as i currently have an aversion to spending money lol we have compromised (did i really say that). :beer:Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0 -
Only made todays payment because I found 20p in my pockets.
I got a massive shock this afternoon when I checked my banking. The money for a meal out I paid for on the 4th came out today. -_- So, I'm not over my overdraft, which is damn typical, right?0 -
£3.80 PAD for me today to the smelly egg. The DD went there today too but I'm not counting it here as I just want to see what I've paid extra but the account is looking so much better already. So glad i found this site and to the newbies .... not that I'm that old myself !!!! its great, stick at it through the glum days and the fun days ..... IT WORKS!!!:j :j0
