Oh dear, I've not been on here for 2 days, and so much to catch up..it may take some time!
My PAD = £30.22 which is yesterday's and today's and an extra one 'cos I got the scratchies again.. I think I'll have to get some cream for that!
Great news though, my dear OH has had a customer ring up saying she wants some work doing and so does her friend :T This is the first this year and I was beginging to feel desperate and he seemed to be quite depressed, so thak goodness things may actualy be looking up!
When the money comes in it should cover our servicing and MOT costs, s it won't be off debt, but at least w won't be adding to it!
Off for a coffee so can settle down and read what I've missed!
Have a god day

Paid £1.83 to the ol' smEgg card this morning (last fiver in the bank at the mo until Friday) and I've thrown in an additional 50p to the Cosmotini mug just to round things off there - not too bad going!

Also, if you're not fussed about a new phone then haggle like a fiend - I got a new phone and my monthly bill halved by saving I would leave Orange0 -

Hi, everyone - been off the thread for a day or two but back with PAD of £5.74 to Barclaycard. Welcome to all newbies - I am new to this thread too, but really really appreciate the help and support everyone gives here - and no-one will judge you, believe me. When one of us does well, it motivates all of us - when one of us is having a bad day, we all help each other and cheer each other up. [I think I am starting to make us sound like one of thos creepy sects where all the members have those weird smiles and unfocussed eyes - better stop now!!]
Got some good news yesterday - boss called me in [I thought I was in trouble] and said that they wanted to enhance a part of my job and along with this came a pay rise!! Not huge, but hey....It means that I wown't apply now for that senior position I was wondering about because with this new aspect I will actually be doing the job i want to do, whereas I fear the other job would have been a cross between trying to herd cats and encouraging some very opinionated people to play nicely and share their toys. This new post also ties in to end of year bonus scheme, which my present post is not; and there is the possibility of this becoming more important hence possible more salary / responsibility. So very pleased about that, as was DD until I told her how much more actual cash would be coming into the house. I could see her plan of Ebay world domination fading in front of her very eyes....
Have a good Wednesday, people, and big hugs to everyone whose week has been difficult.0 -
