I think this is the " smiliest " thread on here and we all love putting silly pictures on to cheer everybody up ...... If you want any help putting pictures on , then let us know and " we will talk you through it " ..... it's a piece of cake ! ......

By the way , just because some of us don't " display " our debts in our sigs don't think that they are not huge ones ! .......

Nobody is in a position to judge anybody. We all got into debt for different reasons and that doesn't matter. What matters is that we are all trying to do something about it however long it takes and we are here to support each other and have some fun. Getting debt free is a long haul for most of us so some lighter moments help to keep us going. This thread really helps you focus on the small payments but is amazing how soon they mount up and they all make a difference.

So welcome aboard the PAD madhouse.

Being a newbie myself I have to echo what the girls have just said....

You'll find everyone on this thread very supportive and no one will judge anyone. We're all in this situation for various reasons but trying our damndest to get out of it, and yes that involves keeping a careful eye on the pennies but you'll see everyone getting on with what life throws at us, going out and having fun and also posting all sorts of random stuff on here to make us laugh! (if naked men, cocktails and toblerones are your bag you'll love it even more on the girls new Sunday Soiree!! He he he)

You'll notice everyone celebrates successes - big or small - and helps out if anyone is feeling a little down. I'm really glad I found this site and thread a few weeks back!! Fantastic to see my numbers coming down, and no,that's not the only number I have at the bottom....more to be posted when I am brave enough....

Hi Everyone

Glad to see the usual antics...it wouldn't be PADville without it!!

Didn't get to post yesterday, so double-PAD today £1.09+£1.10 = £2.19 to Egg. Glad to see this is coming down at last!!

Half term for us next week and am planning to take a few days off with the kids. So, I was wondering whether you lovely people had some suggestions for something to do along the 'family day out' theme. It'll me, OH and three kids 17, 14 & 12. I've allowed £100 in the budget for this (a treat for all of us for being so careful with the money since I turned into the Mega-Penny Pincher ). All ideas welcome...the more the better!

I find some in www.photobucket.com others i just use " google " and when i come across a silly pic i save it in my photobucket account , until i get a chance to put it on here ! ....
