Hi Everyone, This is my first ever post although I have used your advice over the last 18 months or so.
My signature says it all. I'm not proud of it but last week I actually sat down and added up all my debt. I read your posts here and set up tiny payments the smalled 8p the largest around £5. Not managed it over the weekend as no money.I put together a rather crude spreadsheet (not quite finished) and just put in what I pay against each card and it gives me a running total for each card and a total for all. I will need to enter my regular payments to to ensure that I know exactly where I am going. The figures might be slightly out due to just taking the last received statement from each card but should be accurate in about a months time. I tend to round up to the nearest pound but do try to go higher.
I have 3 separate current accounts so use all of them to make payments from for the daily payment.
I have reclaimed bank charges and the charge for when remortaging.
Think I need a fairy godmother to help but have been trying. Debt is not just but some frivolous expenditure but to do with borrowing to buy a property (as I couldnt get my mortgage to cover everything and some bits for my home. Jan of this year my debt was only £15k.
