Hello Everyone
Well what a carp week
Monday - all other colleagues sent home early as live 10+ miles away. I got away at 6 instead of 8, but on call and spent two hours dialled in
Tuesday - Missed dentist because of the weather so still have a broken tooth and bill to look forward to. Quiet night. Quick drink after work at our local club with DOH, but then fancied a kebab as not had dinner. No one fancies a kebab unless drunk, and afterwards I wished I hadn't. I hadn't even had alcohol.
Wednesday - stuck at work till almost 9, got in at 9.20, called at 9.25. Hacked off and went to bed to watch Minder
Thursday - snowed in at home but on call so had the lap top. Spent the day dialled in, watching OH, DS and various neighbours kids making a giant snow frog in the garden.
Got hacked off with everyone moaning we had little in the way of treats in the house, excuse me I am working, can't you knock up some Twinks they yelled. Remembered some in the freezer, so saviour of the day and the so and so's did not even leave me one.
Friday - spent 45 minutes clearing the car and drive of snow. By the time I got to the other side of the car, youi would not know I had done the rest. Frozen, fed up and goodness knows what other feelings, then boss calls work from home - yay, but could have phoned one hour earlier.
In the evening DS wanted to see GF and as we were desperate for basics like milk took him there, then did a shop, but DOH came with me and it cost almost three times last week. You would think we lived in the North Pole, not the Midlands.
Saturday - House work, which I would have done Thursday and Friday before work if I had been in the office
Yummy homemade Chinese, actually got egg fried rice right for the first time ever.
Sunday
At home on my own, except for the oncall mobile and laptop, so skiving on here, catching up on emails and onlne banking.
Need to go soon though as have tons of ironing which I need to get done before our holiday next week.
We have rented a house on the edge of Exmoor with three other families. It has a swimming pool, table tennis and pool table and stunnign views over Exmoor. Looking forward to the break, the snow must clear so we can get there. Not so fussed if we cannot get back :rotfl:
Anyways PAD for today £15.92
Catch up with you all soon

but look on the positive side, it is going down, very slowly!!

Made a £20 pad to MBNA.
Its -4c here at the moment. I cannot get warm, my 2 year old is as crabby as its possible to be, and i have loads of work to do.
I ended up persuading my 8 year old to dress up as Anastasia yesterday for the party. Much easier than Mika - with her long hair and some straighteners and some sunglasses she made a passable 8 yr old pop star (so long as se did not start singing:eek: .
Must go and await her return from the sleepover.
Have a good day all. xxx2013 TARGET £30k

Just done some jiggling to save punds, but could do with jiggling on the WII Fit to lose some:rotfl:
It is a good job I like numbers, otherwise I think I would go insane
2 CCs at 0% end in two weeks.
Very few good 0% offers about that I am not already using or linked to in some way, so DOH applied for MBNA LOB at 5.9%
Now have
CC1 - 4497 @6.9% LOB
CC2 - 4000 @5.9% LOB
CC3 - 5635 @0% till March 2010
CC4 - 2700 @0% till 28th April
CC5 - day to say spending paid off in full each month £1969 this month due to opticians, dentist and other emergency expenses:eek:
We have an offset mortgage so use the CC5 like cash and get clubcard points for it. We average about £50 every quarter and then use them for meals, days out or holidays
Back after the next bout of ironing

Gilly.
Was the 5.9% LOB from MBNA for new customers only? If not, which type of account was it please? I have four accounts with them, all on zero balance and I think they are all very high interest accounts - not that it matters with zero balances. Just considering switching at some point but I will only deal with MBNA for 0% low amounts that I KNOW I can pay off quikly OR LO(B deals. This is because MBNA have a bad rep for borderline loan shark interest rates when they think they have you hooked.0
