I took Egg up on an offer of 6.9% LOB a few months back. Did that one for 9 grand. A couple of months later they tried to offer me 6 months interest free on new BTs. Nice try Egg but I'll stick with the LOB because the 0% debt would have become trapped on their SVR after 6 months. There doesn't seem to be any pattern as to who gets offered what with these companies, does there?

You're right there though, bot of a lottery it seems. You lucky thing with the lowe rates for LOB :T I can't get that deal with anyone - tried Natwest, Crap one and even MBNA but no-one wants my money :rotfl: Just found a smEgg thread on the credit card forum so just going to try and suss out how people are getting on there too. I certainly going to try and get it cleared off and gone over the next couple of months! :D

  • Hi All

Didn't manage to post my PAD yesterday, so double today:

    £1.06 + £2.07 = £3.13, plus earlier today had tenner on a scratchcard :j , so that's a total PAD of £13.13 for today.

Had a lovely day cooking today (don't usually cook as OH is so much better than me), made some butternut squash soup and some flapjacks, both are big hits with the family, so feeling very pleased with myself! :D

Could not do a pad yesterday - was out all day and the evening with work, and was too tired when i got back at 1am.

I probably would only have paid £25 though.

Therefore I have made it up today with a pad of £50 to HMRC.

I am hoping to receive some money on Thursday (but i'm not holding my breath:rolleyes: )

I am getting really low on funds, and i can feel that i will need to raid my money box if this keeps up.

I'm going to wrap up warm and have a cup of cocoa. xxxxx

Hello everybody, some brilliant PAD's going on! I am skint at the minute for a number of reasons but have paid 57p to the Take That concert fund today to take my total for February so far up to £100 yay!
Can't get to my online banking on this computer but am going to have a good look at my budgets and things tomorrow to see how the rest of the month is going to pan out. I'm already into my overdraft so am loathe to go any further into that for PAD's, may start scouring the floor for pennies to pick up :rotfl:

    Hi ya ,
Who was the credit check through ? ...... There are 3 main uk ones that i know of , Equifax , Experian , Callcredit ....
When i have checked mine in the past with Experian and Equifax , some of my debts were listed on one of those and not on the other and visa versa ....
You used to be able to send off £1 to each of them and get a copy back of your credit check apparently it's now costs £2 for each one ....Have a look on here http://www.creditchoices.co.uk/partner-lp_credit-rating-agencies/credit-rating-agencies.html#3 if you want to contact them direct ...... if not then try going through Quidco or one of the other cashback sites to get the ones that you haven't got .....
I had a few catalogues listed on mine as " satisfied " as well ..... i don't normally shop from catalogues ....... but i have ordered odds 'n' sods from the odd magazine / newspaper etc which were apparently linked to a catalogue and paid by credit card ...... could this be why you have " Next directory " on yours ? ......

Re: PAD dds' and s/orders , some people prefer to add them to their PAD others don't ..... it's entirely up to you ....

Oooooooooh i meant to ask you if your B&Q dishwasher got cancelled ? ...... my dads did ....... That has just reminded me , to catch up on your diary ! ....

Hiya terri and thanks for your message sweetie...

I used credit expert for my check and there is actually a list of the companies i have supposedly owed money to on there with their address so i shall write to the Next one as i do know 100% i have never used them... im just not that posh!:rotfl:

I didnt get the dishwasher but the bungalow we have just viewed and hope to hear about on monday has one built in so that would be a bonus!

thanks for heads up on pad's ( i always think menstrual cycle when i write that  ) i have just updated my diary on here as ive done a running total of what mine were and i think ill stick to not including my dd's as in my eyes they aren't extra's and extra's make me smile more lol

I think ill have a hob nob to celebrate lol xx
