Afternoon all. Cold and white over here. I was supposed to be doing a mystery shop today but have cancelled because the roads are pretty bad at the moment and the restaurant is over 20 miles away - shame though as it was a restaurant I was visiting and I was looking forward to lunch at someone elses expense.
I was going to take the dogs for a walk with dh but he's being a git this morning and I can't be bothered with him so I'm just going to sit and play games on my ds. I really could do with some exercise though to help with the weight loss - maybe I'll do a bit of housework later.
Anyway I didn't get time to post yesterday so £5 yesterday and £5 today - total £10 to pad.

PAD £1.07 to the SmEgg credit card. I'm going to love seeing that monthly statement in a few days with all those itty-bitty payments on it.

Have been off this thread for a few days in terms of posting, but always check in to read everyone's posts and keep focussed! Have slightly changed my PAD approach, am putting PAD in a jar and then taking it out and getting my weekend /week's food shopping with it. This saves me drawing any more cash out, and as my main concern is to get my overdraft down this words for me. Plus it's 2 weeks until payday - aargh!! Still, it is certianly making me be quite creative with my shopping!
Thinking about a big decision this weekend. A senior post has been advertised at my work and I'm thinking of applying. It would mean my salary would take quite a jump if I got it [although that's not the main reason, of course!!!] They want an internal appointment, the job looks really interesting and several colleagues have asked me if I am applying, which means they must think I am capable - either that or I am their worst nightmare and they want to know the possible hell which awaits!! One quality which they are looking for is stamina and resilience - do you think I could put the DFW thread as a reference to porve this?? Anyway, I don't have to have my application in until later this month, so plenty of time to think.
Good to hear how well we are doing - even if I don't post I need to check in with everyone, you are all so supportive and it is such a help to feel you are not alone.
Have a good weekend!0 -

Anyway pad's today are..
£2.00 cap 1
£2.00 Hal cc
£2.00 ba2 o/d
Totally £6.00
by the way i dont include any dd's or so's to pads.. is that the right way?
love to all xx
Hi ya ,
Who was the credit check through ? ...... There are 3 main uk ones that i know of , Equifax , Experian , Callcredit ....
When i have checked mine in the past with Experian and Equifax , some of my debts were listed on one of those and not on the other and visa versa ....
You used to be able to send off £1 to each of them and get a copy back of your credit check apparently it's now costs £2 for each one ....Have a look on here http://www.creditchoices.co.uk/partner-lp_credit-rating-agencies/credit-rating-agencies.html#3 if you want to contact them direct ...... if not then try going through Quidco or one of the other cashback sites to get the ones that you haven't got .....
I had a few catalogues listed on mine as " satisfied " as well ..... i don't normally shop from catalogues ....... but i have ordered odds 'n' sods from the odd magazine / newspaper etc which were apparently linked to a catalogue and paid by credit card ...... could this be why you have " Next directory " on yours ? ......
Re: PAD dds' and s/orders , some people prefer to add them to their PAD others don't ..... it's entirely up to you ....
Oooooooooh i meant to ask you if your B&Q dishwasher got cancelled ? ...... my dads did ....... That has just reminded me , to catch up on your diary ! ....

I took Egg up on an offer of 6.9% LOB a few months back. Did that one for 9 grand. A couple of months later they tried to offer me 6 months interest free on new BTs. Nice try Egg but I'll stick with the LOB because the 0% debt would have become trapped on their SVR after 6 months. There doesn't seem to be any pattern as to who gets offered what with these companies, does there?0 -
£6.38 PAD to my barclaycard by accident, meant to send it my smelly egg but pushed the wrong button and didn't check:o Never mind its still a payment and things in general are going the right way.
I am like a woman possessed today. Have decided that I really need to settle to a relationship this year. Turned 30 last October. Have always been a bit of a tinker but now am desperate for children. Everyone I know has had messages asking them to volunteer their single freinds to my find a bloke challenge!!! ha ha ha:rotfl: will keep you all updated on the progress!0
