Flylady_Flower wrote: »Yep, I know exactly what you mean - I've saved nearly £80 this month which I would never have done before so where did it come from? It's definitly the odd monies that mount up - as the old saying goes, look after the pennies... You think I would have got that by now eh!
Thanks for the tip about posting every day too... I missed a few days and did loose the focus - it's not a habit yet, so I will post even if I have no pad, just so that I stay on it (actually, I might even post 1p or something silly just to post for the day) Thanks again for dragging me in... it's great...
I'm glad you're sticking around....you will be addicted quicker than you think! Like you say...even if you pay a penny a day you'll get used to coming on and the amounts soon mount up! Here's to you being debt free!!!:T xx0 -

Seriously though, why has he suddenly decided that he wants the money back? Does he not realise that you are starting Mat leave soon? And that money will be tight?

ATEOTD, if you don't have the money to give him, you don't have it. Not too much he can do about that! Take care of yourself!x

Hi All
Trying to re-establish my routines (updates etc!) after being without a computer for quite a while until recently.
Now OH is paying me a decent amount of money every week, I am managing to do reasonably large daily payments - for the 2nd half of last month I was managing £20 a day (weekday). I have started this month on £10 a day but I have worked out that from Monday I can afford to go back up to £20 a day, which is great!
I have changed my sig to show much I have paid off in the current month and how much I have paid off still I started this challenge. So far in February I have managed to pay £50.20 in daily payments and a total of £658.98 since I started the challenge.

Hello peeps ...
Hope that everyone is ok ? ...
Very late " post " for me today , so i haven't had a chance to read everyone's " posts " but i'll catch up tomorrow .....
No snowballs here today !.... We had some heavy snow for a few hours early this morning
but it had been " drizzly " before that , so it never settled ......
Around 2 ish this afternoon my daughter bet me that i couldn't stay off the computer until she went to bed...... I love a challenge ! ..... and there was a prize at stake ! .........
So i have spent the evening catching up on all the soaps........ Ooooooooops wrong soaps ! I meant these ones ! ........
...... and then watching a few other things
....... a lovely very lazy evening ...... with my bottle of wine !
.......
Did anyone watch Kitchen nightmares USA ? ...... Gordon Ramsey was very lacking in the " f words " tonight !......... It's not the same without him " f ..... ing and blinding " all the time ! ........ Having said that the trailor for next weeks one looks quite good .....
Anyway my daughter went to bed about 12.30 ish ...........Yippee .......... I WON the bet !.......... What do you think my prize was ? .......... I'll let you think about that ........ I'll give you a clue ........ It cost less than 60p ......
As soon as she went to bed i headed into the kitchen ......... to my " secret hiding place " ...... to dig out the walnut whip that i had hidden earlier...... and had been thinking about all evening !
......... Bear in mind i live in a maisonette not a mansion , so you can obviously hear if someone is in the kitchen ..... Why is it that whenever you are trying to be quiet you end up making a real racket ? ........ Anyway back to the walnut whip ......... I'm trying to move around quietly ...... The 1st thing i do is trip over a carrier bag
that has somehow grown legs
and managed to walk away from the hallway and ended up in the doorway of the kitchen ........ i bend down to rub my foot .......then as i stand up i whack my head on the breakfast bar
...... oh great ....... then i open the cupboard door ....... carefully sliding my lidls tinned toms to one side ...... or so i thought , but not careful enough though ....... off the shelf they come and straight onto the floor ...... thankfully just missing my foot ! ....... Then the dreaded teenage " voice " starts
........ MUM what you doing ? ....... " nothing ! " ....... YES you are ....... " no i'm not " .......WHATS that noise ? ..... " i dropped something " ..... WHAT ? ....... " a tin of tomatoes "
..... WHAT ? ........ " you heard " ...... WHAT are you doing in the kitchen anyway ? ....... " nothing " .......... YES you are ..... "no i'm not " ...... YES you are ........ " oh for christs sake go to sleep " .............OK nite mum ........ " nite " ...... MUM ....... MUM what's that rustling noise ? ......... " nothing " ........ and so ends another day ! ...........
My life is just soooooooooooo exciting !........
The walnut whip was lovely ! ........
Here's my good and Bad for today ......
The Good - Paid £122 to cc ......
Added £1 to my pot ....
Added 7p to copper pot ....
The Bad - " My mystery prize earlier ! " ..... and eventually a walnut whip ! ....
Catch you all tomorrow ......ooooooops i mean later today !
Anyway keep warm and snuggly ....
terri x( My total PAD today is £123.07 ) .....

Hi everyone
I was in stitches Terri reading your post :rotfl::rotfl:the things we'll do for a walnut whip!!!
My pad today is £8.57to Next card. Unfortunately can't afford anything for Cap One now until payday - Friday 13th. The only reason i am up so early on a Sat morning is DS2 very kindly signed himself up for a Young Americans Workshop (drama) all weekend in one of the local schools so he has to be there for 8.15 am this morning until 9.15 tonight, then most of tomorrow too. So mum's taxi will be on the go and it's been snowing here yuk. Don't mind snow but HATE driving in it. Oh well other than that visit to Mr T early this morning then a quiet one - mmm might even do some housework! Will catch up on posts later. Have a good weekend. xPayment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0
