Snow here again today, but I'm meant to have a driving lesson?! We'll see how that pans out!
PAD £1.06 to the Egg peeps today...still no email, so I reckon I must be in the clear with the interest. But I feel awful for everyone who isn't.
Does anyone know if any of the bingo sites are still running 'free' days? I know gala used to do free entries on a Thurs night.

Sorry you're feeling down my lovely.
I used to have a second job at the weekends, it wasn't too bad - I actually surprised myself how much extra cash it seemed to leave me with each week.
My only advice would be to get a job that's completely different to your weekday one - that way the 'a change is as good as a rest' rule seems to work quite well, as opposed to boredom setting in really quickly! For instance, I used to do one job where I used to talk a lot (recruitment) and another job in catering, where I was making food and drinks all day, so very physical work, and I hardly had to talk at all.
Also try to maybe do 8 - 10 hours at the weekend, either all on a Sat or spread over a Sat and Sun. Any more than that and you'll feel like you never get a rest. I used to get every other Sunday off, and boy, did I love that day!!
Anyway, good luck if you do look for a second job! xx0 -

Yes indeed - I want one. How cool would that be?
No e-mail from Egg on interest rates just yet. Although I am one of the "account suspended" club (seems to be a few of us on here!!) and it
seems they may have left us alone to pay off those balances.
They are nasty pieces of work since Citi took over...I guess we are paying for Citi's massive involvement in lending to Americans who couldn''t afford it.
They upped my min payment back in December without telling me
(but claimed I received a letter - NO), luckily I had started overpaying anyway so didn't bother me.
Sorry to all those they have hit. (I wonder if its all these little
PADs and they are having to shell out lots of overtime to process?)
 Let's keep hitting em, reduce those balances and stop their easy profit game.
Rant over....

Hi Guy's
Mad another payment to savings today ready to pay off card - so my PAD is £5.31 to round off my account...
Hope I can keep this up as then we will have paid off this card in no time... :j
Thanks, this is such a great idea and I only wish I had been doing it earlier...
Citi are a carp company LondonAndy and seem to want to get every penny they can out of you when you are down - just before we went bust, we were desperate (I did the wrong thing, although I thought it was the right thing at the time, and I tried to pay everyone off, stealing from Peter to pay Paul instead of telling like it is...:o ) and thought if we got a loan we could pay off some stuff and have a lower monthly amount to pay - we got £6000 from them (Citibank as they were then) at a rate of 46% (we seem to like things at 40 odd percent??? ) but only got to make one payment before it all went wrong... so that taught em eh! (not that I wanted to go bust mind, would rather still be in our house and paying people...:( )LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

Hiya Flylady-flower...it soon becomes addictive this PAD doesn't it. Thing is, it becomes a habit and before you know it you have paid cards off. I remember doing this last year and it made a huge difference but then I stopped it for a month and I soon lost my focus. I have to post everyday to make me do it. What I find frightening is - what did I used to do with this money that i'm finding for PAD. I've nothing to show for it all!! Scary! xx0

£10.06 to the Virgin card. My mad spend on the new kitchen showed up today on my on-line banking and it had gone through in February and not by 31st January to get the 0%.
Rang up Virgin and explained that I did use the card before the 31st January, but the shop had processed it on the Monday instead. The very nice man agreed to apply the 0% to the spend. So free money till July..... Just got to make sure I clear the debt by then.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100
