Morning to you all....it's lovely to see all these payments so those horrid card people get less interest from everybody!!!

    My payment today is

    £40.00

This is the tax credit that's gone into the account. We're trying to save everything that isn't DH's wage because if anything does happen to his job at the moment we have NOTHING to fall back on. It means things are tight but we're not used to having any money so we may as well stay like that for a bit!!

    Hugs to you all xx

    Morning folks

This thread really is addictive, it's the first thing I think about when I get up and in the evening i can't wait for the morning to come to pay my PAD. How sad is that? But it does help and is exciting to see debts reducing daily and savings slowly going up even if it's only by £1 or £2 each day, it really soon adds up! And I would never have had £30 or £60 per month to put aside, so how come I can do the daily ones??? Wondering where the money used to go...

Anyway, got my statement from Capital One, which I had paid off in full with loan and they charged me £11.77 interest so that is being paid today, plus £1 to emergency, £2 to holiday fund and £2.44 to CC (rounding my bank balance off to the nearest £10). Total PAD today £17.21.

No snow here but very cold out there! Well, better go, have a good Friday everyone!

    Morning everyone,
Thank you all for the kind words yesterday, feeling abit better today - probably has something to do with OH being paid meaning we have some money!!! dancing.gif

So today i have made a two payments of £20 to each of my council tax arrears and £6.27 to savings account. Oh and £1 to HSBC CC. Total PAD is £47.27

Hope everyone is well today? Sorry to hear about all those who have had their interest rates hiked up, how annoying!!
Still no snow here, think i am probably in the only part of the country that hasnt had any snow!! I do love a good snowball fight so a bit upset about that!!snowman.gif

Also does anyone know at what point in the month quidco pay out? I used it for my car insurance a while back and it says on the account that my payout is due in february, but it will be my first payment so not sure  .

Hope everyone has a great day!!

:p Hi Jo! I like to keep up my morning post although late today. I woke up late (could be bothered to get out of bed actually) and then realised we had loadsa snow again but school and work open  so bit of a rush to get ready and out early! I do try and have a quick look through the posts at night otherwise i can't keep up!! :D

DT - that is very big brother isn't it? It amazes me how they never seem to catch the people who intentionally scam money all the time though

Right, need to be quick, as need to go to work (for a change!):

    £10 EPDL
    £8 Vicious Vanquis
    £2.50 Capital 1
    £3.61 Egg

    TOTAL PaD £29.11

Re Quidco - they usually pay out around the beginning of the month, most people have had payments during this week. Does it say 'paid' on your account? The pay month they quote is often an estimate and it may be they pay you at the beginning of March. I've been with them since last year and have never had any problems. They also email you now when they've transferred the cash.
One step at a time ;)
