Was the 5.9% LOB from MBNA for new customers only? If not, which type of account was it please? I have four accounts with them, all on zero balance and I think they are all very high interest accounts - not that it matters with zero balances. Just considering switching at some point but I will only deal with MBNA for 0% low amounts that I KNOW I can pay off quikly OR LO(B deals. This is because MBNA have a bad rep for borderline loan shark interest rates when they think they have you hooked.
Hi Paul
It's a WEB only offer and the questions say open to anyone over 18 and UK resident.
But my OH is a new customer so not sure if this made a difference as he was offered an exceptionally large limit - we are not even going half way towards it.
Yo cannot amek MBNA to MNBA transfers.
Hope this helps

Hello all.
Missed yesterday for the first time since starting this challenge as I had visitors for the weekend. Had a great day being tour guide and taking them around London Town. Even better, my team Leicester City were on TV for the first time in ages so we went and watched the match inthe sports bar ......and had a few cheeky beers.
I have just put them on the train home so back to catching up on the posts.
Having a big spring clean today ready to move house.I am praying for another snow day tomorrow but looking unlikley
Glad to see my cheeky nick-name for Egg caught on yesterday!!
PAD £5 today, which is £2.50 for yesterday and £2.50 for today.

Hello Everyone
Need to go soon though as have tons of ironing which I need to get done before our holiday next week.
We have rented a house on the edge of Exmoor with three other families. It has a swimming pool, table tennis and pool table and stunnign views over Exmoor. Looking forward to the break, the snow must clear so we can get there. Not so fussed if we cannot get back :rotfl:

I live near exmoor and have to tell you that on Friday north devon didn't even get any newspapers, were completely cut off!! ha ha ha I love it!!0 -
Hi everyone! Bit late as stayed with family last night. Am sooooooo tired but OH has dropped off on settee 1st so need to entertain the little one!
Just change for me today:
£2 coin to bag
£2.50 to 50p bag.
TOTAL PaD £4.50
Think i actually have enough money to last me this week. Have things to pay but am being careful not to go mad with PaD (yep i'm a poet you just don't know it.....sorry that was really sad  ). My trouble is, i don't trust myself not to spend money if i leave it in my account, so that is my challenged this week.
It's my LO's birthday soon so i also need to save for his party. I may transfer money onto my cap 1 card if i can't leave it in my account. I tend to spend and repay spend and repay on this card anyway.
I'll shush now, just helps to think out loud on here xxx Have a good day everyone. It's mega chilly here with snow predicted for tonight. One step at a time0 -
Hiya everyone, hope you're all having a good Sunday!
I'm typing this very carefully, as my purring kitty is curled up next to the keyboard!!
Anyway, PAD £1.08 for me today to the Egg card. Oooh, I like that pink, it matches my nails!!

Thank you, at least I think I mean thank you for the weather update
We are going to Countisbury, near Lynton, so Porlock Hill would be the ideal route, but obviously not at the minute
We will get threre come what may.
It normally takes us 4 hours to get to Croyde in the summer, so we are allowing 8 for the bad weather and diversions.
Thanks again
