theinvernet - i think DT has answered your question. On quidco you join the bingo sites eg Virgin, Littlewoods etc and when you've joined you can do the free scratch cards. With littlewoods i deposited £10 and will get £10 cashback from quidco plus £10 to play with on the site. I have 'won' £1.30 so far this week from the scratch cards.
Now i must admit, i do play online bingo anyway but i only deposit £10 per month. I haven't won on any of the littlewoods games so far and probably won't deposit anymore here. So whilst i haven't gained loads i haven't lost either cause of the quidco cashback.
Previous winnings that i've withdrawn for PaD have been won on the bingos website.
Anyway, enough ramblings from me......;)One step at a time0 -

Good luck talking to Egg Dankosheemo - are you like me in that they've stopped you being a customer now, and you're just paying off the rest of the card? They gave me the boot about a year ago, even though I've never missed any payments - cheeky. They're just egg bandits after as much money as possible from you especially if are deemed to "still being able to afford the payments"! BUT I've kinda had a result though after speaking to them today!I did go a bit bananas but after the chap eventually laid out the options, they have offered to suspend my account so I can't spend on it (I don't anyway) and they will keep the current interest rate of 21.9% until I pay it off. RESULT! :j I know it's a pretty poop rate but better than than the 26.9% plus interest rate!!
Beencounting: give them a call and see what they can do. Could you afford to have the account suspended and just pay it off at the current rate? Best of luck with that though
Greenbynature: watch out for the e-meithers! It'd be worth speaking to them to see if they can give you a heads up and to see what you're currently paying interest wise. They are cheeky scamps.
Oow the snow came and then it rained and then it got cold... but maybe some more tomorrow? Hope everyone's had a good day today. It's Friday tomorrow!! :j

Seriously though, why has he suddenly decided that he wants the money back? Does he not realise that you are starting Mat leave soon? And that money will be tight?

just PAD of £1.32 trying not to get too enthusiastic this month and end up with nothing in account for the last 2 weeks of the month!!! Dam this PAD far too addictive!! ha ha ha
My payement going to egg card too , am beginning to worry that they are picking on those of us making tiny annoying payments everyday, haven't received a mail yet so am hoping it wont happen.
lets all target the smelly egg!!!!0 -
In other, smEgg related news, OH had an email this afternoon saying his int rate has gone up from 17.9% to 21.9% Thankfully that one won't be with us for much longer, as only £53.90 to clear, so that will be gone asap!
Everything seems to be slowly catching up, so I have transferred my virtual PADs over today and made an actual PAD of £4.44 (the virtuals should already have been counted)

Well I haven't posted in a while but I'm very chuffed to report that my payment a day has been going really well and I have now paid off my FD Credit Card with my PAD savings ... onwards and upwards to my virgin credit card... I've a good head start as I've been working extra in January (hence not being about in this post) and have put all the extra money I got paid into my PAD Savings to pay off the CC
Well done everyone xxxTrying to make a better life.... If you need me you'll find me at the allotment.0 -

Oh newmum, i am sorry he's picked now to demand his money. I'm assuming he won't accept installments? If the credit union would lend you some would that keep him happy to have a lump and then the rest in installments? He's got to be realistic at the end of the day and realise you can't magic up that sort of money. I wouldn't consider going to anyone else for a loan other than the credit union, but look after yourself too and that new baby that's due. You want to enjoy your newborn not worrying about money.
Big hugs xxxx
P.S could lend you a red light bulb if you get stuck - it's way too cold to stand on street corners :rotfl:One step at a time0
