Hiya everyone
I'm banning piccies of hot chocolate on this site!! I've just had to get myself some! Yum yum yum!
I've got two PAD today as both children have a residential trip this year so I want to pay the £250 for that separately to savings. This time last year I had to borrow the money so things are looking up! I've set up a payment card with the school so I can pay as and when. After I set mine up the school office has been inundated with people wanting to do the same.
So £10 for savings and £10 for school trips. My PAD today is;

Morning all.
Where I live there's just a dusting of snow but I have to come over the 'top' to get to work and the road was horrendous. 1 hour to travel half-mile - and both me and dd were desperate for the loo. She was eyeing up the bushes at the side of the road and even more desperately I was wondering if the cup from my flask would be big enough. It was made even worse by us finding it all very funny - given that I'm a more mature person and my 'muscles' aren't that strong so laughing is definitely not recommended with a full bladder iyswim:rotfl: All in all a normal 30 minute journey took 2 hours:eek:
And now I've just got to work to find out the heating isn't working properly and it's on and off like a yoyo
Nay mind - £5 for my pad today. I also have a mystery shop at the weekend which will add more money to the pot when I get paid.
Have a good day everyone.

DT explains it all here. I've joined littlewoods through quidco. Just reminds me, i haven't done today's scratchcard x
I searched on quidco for 'scratchcards' and couldn't find any deals worth getting - only ones where you have to deposit a lot of money first. Are there supposed to be some free deals or something? xx0 -
Its snowing here in West Yorkshire - light but fast. Still can't get my car out.
My mum said she would lend me her 4WD tomorrow to go to Sheffield cos I have a "do" in the evening to get home from. Bless her!:A
Today my pad is £30 to HMRC.
I said my payments would start reducing didn't I? Oh i need some money in pronto.
Hope you are all having a great day.

Hi PAD-ers
Wasn't able to post yesterday, so two PADs £1.04 + £1.05 = PAD today £2.09 to Egg.
Have just been notified that my Egg rate is increasing too,  grrr. How can they do that when we're making more than our minimum payments?? The sooner I/we get rid of the card the better!

About 5 inches of snow here when we woke up.so no work for me and no school for DS. Just thawing out now from a morning spent bombing down a hill in an inflatable dinghy! Good fun.
Got chatting to a man at the bus stop and told him i had heard on the radio that all the buses were cancelled. He was trying to get to see his wife in hospital 12 miles away.......felt really sad for him....Snow is slowly starting to melt. Nothing else amazing to report I'm afraid.

I have already done my payment a day - I just thought you guys may have some good ideas. I have 3 birthdays this week and I need ideas for cheap presents. My nephew was 1 (so whatever I get him isn't too important!) my niece is 5 and my sis in law. Any ideas on how I can economise with presents?
