    Hi everyone

    I have paid £5.22 & £5.23 to Barclaycard.

Hmmm I'm thinking the balance is not coming down quick enough and was wondering whether to make my payment the day of the month so the 1st would be £1.00, the 2nd £2.00 and so on......................... but then I think but what if the car gave up completely??!?

    Decisions, Decisions

I think that quite good but could you afford to do it when it gets later inthe month and its say the 20th = £20 next day £21 , £22 etc etc. If i was to do this id do 1st = £1 up to da 10 £10 and then on 11th day - 20th id start agan £1-£10

    Ach don't worry about it.

Some people can afford to pay much more than me (Only paid over £100 today because it's payday, I'm much more a £1-£5 kinda gal!)

Pay as much as you can afford, but pay something, that's what this thread is all about.

Re the logs, to cut them to length you need a chainsaw. I have 2 :D a petrol one and an electric one from Lidl which has been very good (been using it for 8 months). I would also recomend the keflar leggings, gloves and helmet/ear defenders. They are expensive but it depends on what value you place on your legs etc. Also a circuit breaker just in case you cut through the cable. You'll also need something to lift the log off the ground as you don't want to hit the ground as you cut - kick-back which can hurt you plus blade damage.

If you want to split the logs rather than divide them into lengths a hand axe with a flat head the other side of the axe and a lump hammer is really effective. Turn the log on end, whack with axe to embed it and then wallop the back of the axe with the lump hammer until the log splits.

    Hope this helps

PAD total £1.24 (all change from purse) into piggy
  • Just paid another £5.11 off OH's CC.... rightly or wrongly I have snowballed all our debts togther.... I do need to try and trust OH more, and I have told him that he can't have the card back until its paid off.... then he'll get one card that I can monitor, and thats it! But he also needs to stop hiding things from me, so we'll see how that goes:rolleyes:

  • Finally made time to add up my PAD and update my signature I knew I must be over £1000.
Putting it in my post as well as a note to myself in case I lose track again.
So to date £1088.17 paid through PAD since 23/10/08
