So angry and sad that i have had to take this step and ashamed that I can't manage, but at least I'm trying.
Have a great Friday - luckily was in Asda in their '3 bottles of wine for £10.00' aisle a couple of days ago before I realised how grim things really were...so at least can chill out on the sofa tonight with a nice drink!
    Cheers, all!!
mmy - don't be sad about it - I have had to dip into the CC's and stuff and my debt has gone up again too - I've accepted it because I had an expensive Christmas and a few other things have come up - don't be so hard on yourself, you have taken action before it has become out of hand and you never know, you may just manage to do without it...
So stop beating yourself up and enjoy your wine... ;)drinking-62.gif

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Teehee :D

I've updated my sig now with my PAD from last payday until yesterday. I was keeping a track of all my PAD, but forgot to update my signature for a few days and it all went t*ts up :o

It's still a very nice amount though.

Must go and feed the kitties now.

Hello everyone! Hope you're all having a cheery Friday night!:D

I'm revising as I have an exam tomorrow - boo! At least I got one over with earlier today, and my OH is cooking tonight, lucky me!

Anyway, I just paid £2.00 off my egg card balance, it felt funny doing a debit card payment for such a small amount though! When Egg see all the small payments I'm going to make over the next few weeks, they'll think I've flipped!:p

    xx

does anyone else's thread look like it's had a makeover? not of the stretched variety, the fonts look somehow "posher" and more minimalist?!

hopeful, the wine was lovely thanks! nice glass or two of red. white and rose don't seem to be agreeing with me (or my diet) at the moment, but a little bit of red's almost healthy innit?! hope your sorted with your OH now. xx

anyhoo, pad to day is 1.23. off now to have curry, drink beer (well, it IS friday!) and watch skins - all in the comfort of my own lovely warm lounge. have a good night everyone xxx

  • Got paid today, so good start to PAD! Only one bottle of diet coke today - so that's 95p! Also found 20p in washing machine! And I decided that since I'd done a great job in budgeting in January I'd pay an extra £50 to A&L cc. So total PAD for today is £51.15!

Look at that- just realised it reads the same backwards!! ;)

  • £1.23 for me today....

Not entirely sure whats goin on with the thread/site.... started off all pale and minimilist, then it went back to normal.... then the quote button disappeared, and now its back. Theres also talk of brown boxes and other things too  Spooky!

Sorry to hear about your worries mmy, its a learning curve for all of us and it certainly takes a little while to get the hang of it. I hope you don't have to go into your overdraft, but keep your chin up, because you are doing well

Weebag, glad you're feeling a little better and could actually get to bed with the wife for a while!

Clarissa, I'm loving reading your potty training diary! I'm gonna start DS properly soon (he's been showing an interest for a few weeks now) and its giving me an idea of what to expect.

  • Hi everyone

    I have paid £5.22 & £5.23 to Barclaycard.

Hmmm I'm thinking the balance is not coming down quick enough and was wondering whether to make my payment the day of the month so the 1st would be £1.00, the 2nd £2.00 and so on......................... but then I think but what if the car gave up completely??!?
