Quick post from me as I have to update my own thread before I go to work and am running a little late as I had to take the bins out as it's binday today (T'other half promised he would and forgot. I may have cursed a little this morning!)

    *ahem*

    Iiiiiiitttt's Paaaaaayyyydaaaaayyyy!!!!

Thank the Lord for it. It's been the longest month ever :rotfl:

    Today I have paid:

£3.75 to the overdraft - my change from my extra wages after I save for t'other halfs birthday and pay off some theatre tickets I bought

£25 minimum to Barclaycard. Actually, my minimum is now £20 after all my PADing, but I budget for £25 so that's what they get!

£78.07 to the overdraft - the difference between what I budgeted for my mortgage to be and what it was.

Only problem is - I was going to pay for my new shiny iPod (Getting delivered today!!!!)
ipod-108.gifwith my non-Council Tax month and my mortgage payment difference. I got excited when I got paid and forgot about that, so I need to find another £45 somewhere to cover the iPod :rotfl: I have some plans though, never fear!

    Total PAD = A kick*ss £106.82

Paybacktime, how horrible for you to have to go through that with your son's school. I had a similar situation when my DD was small, and her little friendship group was being quite badly bullied by one member [of course, butter wouldn't melt in her mouth....] We know our kids aren't angels, and we know they can make things up - but we also know our kids, and if they say things we know if they are true or not [mostly!!] It's not so much that teachers are the worst parents, I don't think, it's more that you know the systems and also you have experience of how things are done elsewhere, so you know if your kid's school is or isn't up to the mark. They should have an anti-bullying /behaviour poilicy and they should invoke it, AFAIK. Awful to leave your son cyring, it really tears at your heartstrings. let's hope today it better, and then you have all weekend - hopefully it will be a bit calmer on Monday.

Keep up the good work all, manic day today at work so I will check in later or over the weekend to make my PADs.
Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!
    TARGETS : :D:D
    Save 12k in 2013: #068 : £7,305/£12,000
  • PAD £91.34 DD payment to a credit card.
I screwed up there. I had already paid by BACS and forgot I had set up a DD. I don't mind paying double the minimum in one month but it came out of an authorised overdraft whicghh has a higher interest rate than the card.
    Oops !!
No excuses. It clearly states on the bill that a DD payment would be taken today.
  • Just a short " post " for me today as i need to " trawl " through the internet looking for a stunning bargain prom dress for my daughter Shop.gif ! .......

Hi Fagash, if you want a good prom dress, try TK Maxx, they 'sometimes' have some great ones from £25 to about £60...

My PAD today is £7 - hubby got paid yesterday and there was an odd £7 so I thought that would be good to do...

Sorry, not had much of a chance to catch up - working till late last night but will try later...
