    Hi all
FAL - we are decorating our staircase. And its a complete pain as the whole thing has to be repapered, sanded and painted and its taking forever. After that I have my office room to do and the spare bedrooms as they look so awful and after 3 years of living here we've still not touched them. And it shows.

Have you tried your local freecycle to see if anyone would come and chop your logs for you and you could 'pay' them with some of them? Or there might just be some thing that you could have (for free) to cut them up.

    Night all

  • I've just spent the last hour or so reading through this thread - what a fantastic idea!

I've been slowly reducing my debt for the last year, and lately it seems to be taking forever to get them down. I think this might just be the ticket to kick-start my motivation again!

I'm a diet coke addict, and really want to cut it out completely, so at 2 bottles a day (and sometimes it's more), that would be at least £1.90 I could use as my PAD (is that really £60 a month?) And added to that, I'd get to join all you fabulously supportive people and keep my focus on being debt free.

Welcome Miss Shellaxx and Belfastgirl! You are more than welcome to our wonderful thread - the more the merrier :D What a great saving you could make on giving up the old diet coke, Belfastgirl! 1985.gif

What a stroke of luck Missthrifty that the police have caught the car people? That almost never happens. 741.gif

Well, no PaD yet. Hubby was paid yesterday. He rang me last night whilst waiting for a taxi to go out (he working away) and said, "Oh sorry, i FORGOT to transfer your money" Weebag, Paulgonnabedebtfree, Private and Condfiential please close your eyes - WHAT IS WRONG WITH MEN???!!!! I have £1.56 in one acc and 27p in the other. Oh i could have screamed. Especially because i needed to transfer some money to a credit card so it would be in my acc by Monday to pay HFC, thus leaving me more hard cash to put towards the dds due out over next week. All part of my carefully worked out budget - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

However, I now have my 1st £2 coin to save since Christmas and a 50p to add to my bag.

    TOTAL PaD £2.50

    Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!! :j
