Hello all - £2.50 for me.
Still feeling crap.
Wee0 -
hi everyone. before i get carried away and totally forget, my PAD today is 1.22. AND another no spend day! that may be it for this week though, must do a bit of food shopping tomorrow for milk & bits. had a good clear out of the cupboards today (hardly anything got rid of, but all arranged and now know what i have again!)
really pleased they caught your car baddie, miss thrifty. hope he rots in a cell somewhere - though hopefully *not* in a super prison near me! (warrington one of the sites the govt is "considering"...)
clarissa, i really feel for you with the potty training. both of my kids (how unlucky is that!) had HUGE issues with number twos for months on end. i binned endless underpants (got sick of rinsing out, invested in loads of smartprice ones for about 20p a pair - probably WAS moneysaving as would have cost more to boil wash i reckon!), had umpteen embarrassing incidents whilst out and about etc. all i can say is - persevere! and try ANYTHING! bribes with chocolate buttons, stickers, charts, shameless promises of (very small and cheap) gifts, promises of character underpants when she's mastered it..anything!! what i discovered is that it all comes together when the kid is ready for it to, not when you are - but sometimes they need a little help in the right direction. xxx
glad your car has passed its MOT, mmy - always a worry, isn't it!? i have no idea about 17 year olds (or indeed, about any kids older than 7!) but it sounds like your 50/50 idea is a good one. and well done to your daughter for working part time already.
what a worry about your son & school, paybacktime. hope you can find a way through it quickly. aren't kids horrible sometimes - your poor lad. our headmaster is also completely useless at dealing with conflict, but so far we've not had any major issues. good luck xxx
trust you to have a "poke in the eye with a sharp stick" smilie, terri! that really made me laugh!
well wishes sent to wee, and hello and well done to everyone else.i'm stuck in to a forbidden glass of red wine tonight - and for that, it's all the sweeter.
have a good night all xxx
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

i'm not all too sure how i came across this forum but i have never been so inspired by a group of people before!! i would be honoured if you would allow me to take part!
I followed in the footsteps of Mudbath, and paid £860, clearing my overdraft, and putting me in credit by 3.90
no doubt i will be relying on the overdraft again at some point, as i am a student, but paying it back has lifted a huge weight from my shoulders, so thank you!
any contributions i now make will be going towards my ISA, but, i assure you they will not be this big lol!!this will all be going towards paying off my student loans!!
i also set up a direct debit for £35, paying off my credit card, i hope!
xxxWould love to win something... just unlucky i guess0 -

Hello peeps .....
Hope everyone is ok ?
joeyjimbles - I'm sooooooo nosy ! Where are you decorating ?.....
mmy - Excellent news that your car passed its' MOT.....
Double Trouble - Did you sort your " 40 posts per pages out ? ......Can't think of anything else that you have missed ! ....
Greenbynature - Quote from you " No pic i'm far too shy " ...... Not to worry i'll do it for you ...... Here you go !
Flower08 - Ooooooooh only " 1 more wake up " until you go away for your weekend ! ...... Have a lovely time..... You never know , but you may walk straight past me on saturday, as my daughter wants to drag me around the shops ! .....
XMISS-SHELLAX - HiGood luck with your payment a day into your ISA , no matter how small the payment is it's surprising how quickly it all adds up .....
Here's my Good and Bad for today ...
The Good - Added £1 to my pot ...
Added 3p to my copper pot ! ...
The Bad - I must confess to finishing off some Nutella ...... if there's any up and coming inventors on here, i would love a decent shaped spoon that gets right into the corners of a Nutella jar !.......
Just a short " post " for me today as i need to " trawl " through the internet looking for a stunning bargain prom dress for my daughter! .......
Anybody got any tips on chopping logs ? ....... yes ....... I did say chopping logs !......... I've been given some logs but need to cut them down so they will fit on my fire ........ Why is real life never like it is in the films ? ....... I thought i would only have to make a " v shaped cut " in them , then give 'em one big swipe and then " bobs your uncle fannys your aunt " and i would have a lovely toasty fire
........ But in reality i got " the hump " and gave up after 15 mins because nothing was happening ....... So my wickes axe is back in it's cover after being sworn at several times
! ....... I suppose the smallest logs are aprox 20" length x 7" depth x 6" width ........ So a jigsaw is no good , i can't face sawing them
, so looks like i am stuck with my axe ......... I might be able to borrow a circular saw off of somebody , i've never used one before , are they easy to use ? ........ I'll have a look on Youtube to see if i can pick up any tips on there .....
Lets hope " The phantom board stretcher doesn't strike again tonight ! ".....
Catch you all tomorrow .....
terri x( Total PAD today £1.03 )
edited .......Omg I can't believe you found a 'poke in the eye with a sharp stick smilie'. I'm going to test you now.....have you got a smilie of a headmaster being told off by a load of PAD addicts????
Hmmmmmmmmmmm i can't find anything suitable at the moment.......but i do love a challenge !
.......
