The Bellagio Fountains''I dont have a credit card with any available cash''
Do you have the card itself ? They are not interested in checking the credit limit just the fact you have a a card for cover, get them to swipe that then if you occur any charges when you check out pay cash ( getting a receipt of course) and your card will be left in tact !

There were rates of $109 not long ago and I just stayed at the Encore for $129.
Well we're finally back homeThe journey bad wasn't too bad considering I hate flying, it's so boring. All the flights landed early. On the Dallas-LHR leg I slept for an hour before the meal started, then slept immediately afterwards for 6.5 hours so didnt' even notice the journey.
I ssoo didn't want to come home and will have to start looking at flights for either September or November. Would love to be able to use my Diamond Club miles with one of the partners like US Airways, but I've no idea how to go about it. Will have to look at Flyer Talk, but I can never understand that site as they talk Double Dutch to me.
The win at the airport was a great way to end the holiday and I was soooo chuffed.0 -

Hi,
Have you seen this offer?
http://www.smartervegas.com/hotels/wynn/promotionalcodes.aspx
Wynn Special Promotion plus $75 Resort Credit! - From: $139/night
with $75 credit.
I have also received the $109 offer, but I think this was because I am a club member- it sounds posh!! But I enrolled to get a spin for a free buffet! Which we had and it was wonderful We are not gamblers at all.
I can forward the "friend" offer if you'd like:
We encourage you to share this special offer from Wynn with your friends and family. We are offering:
$50 RESORTCREDIT with a Wynn Las Vegas Room at special rates from $119/night. Complimentary upgrade to an Encore Resort Suite*.
*based on availability
Stay four or more nights and receive
$25 free slot play.
To share this offer, simply complete the form below and click the button labeled 'Send to Friend'.
Last year, when I was booking our stay, I asked someone at Tripadvisor to forward a similar offer (much pricier), and it was similar, they got a cheaper offer and the forwarded offer was slightly more expensive.
Perhaps someone else can come along with a better offer for the Wynn. Personally, I think the 139 offer is not bad at all with the 75$ credit since you can use if for the buffet or for Le Reve. It becomes even better value if you just stay 1 night!0 -
The Bellagio FountainsI have seen the offer thanks, and also the $109 rate that they have previously had.
Very good indeed.
Wont be going back to LV for a while now, love the place but I fear we have done it to death. Dont want to spoil it forever.
Tried Atlantic City in January, that's a possible :j0 -
The Bellagio FountainsJust noticed on smartervegas that the 40% discount on Love discounts has been extended to Sep 6th. Not all dates are included but its worth having a look:

You should probably call them to confirm the exact amount - my understanding is they will swipe your card at check-in and get a pre-authorisation/hold on the funds to pay for your stay plus an amount for incidentals...I don't know what amount they block for incidentals.
I don't think it's correct that they are not interested in checking the credit limit - they need to be sure you'll be paying for your stay and the pre-authorisation tells them you have the credit to do so. I do know you can use a different card or cash to pay on check-out, but in the meantime the funds will be tied up on your card - and I think the hold can last for awhile after check-out.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsOf course we want a trip report, its the only way we get to enjoy Vegas until our next trip!!
Stew
no worries Stew, it will include our full 16 nights trip to west coast so hope people dont mind that, or i can just post the 4 nights in vegas!
We are currently in San Diego as I type, seems a long time since we were sitting in the MGM grand playing on Goldfish! It was only 2 nights ago!!!!!! Madness!!!! We are here in San Diego for 2 nights then finish off in LA for 3 nights so still a little way to go!
Just typed up the rest of the trip report up to tonight, and that is up to page...8!!!!!!!!!
