Is anybody able to access the Wynn website? I see from an email they are doing golf promos at the moment and want to see whats available.

THe one deal I can see is what is really cunning as its $429 per night for a 2 night stay - for once you would wish it was a 1 night package!
    Packages From $429 Per Night:
    • Two nights in a Resort Room at Wynn Las Vegas
    • One round of golf for two (a $1,000 value)
    • Prix fixe lunch for two at The Country Club, A New American Steakhouse

A lot of wynns promos seem to have a minimum 2 night stay. Now if that was a one night only rate i'd be booking it:D

ETA: wdyw i just checked the website and thats the only golf package they have on there.

Steve - I agree with Claire that checking in online ASAP after it opens is your first option - we've actually seen the coveted pairs at the back pop up then - much to our surprise...second would be (if you can) go to twilight check-in the night before your flight even if you've already checked in online...may be that they can do something there for you. It may not be an option for you if you don't live nearby or if you aren't staying at a Gatwick hotel the night before, but worth trying if it is an option.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Hi all,

Hope that you can help. I am off to LV on 0th May my 50th. I have decided that i have to fly direct so have booked with Virgin, the problem is as this was a last minute thing, when i selected seat there was very few options avaialble. The off shot is the wife and i are not seated together.

Do you know if the check in desk will help to rearrange this for us? Will it help to get to chk in first? Any chance of an upgrade..... bad seat, 50th birthday etc, what do youe clever people think.

Ps i will like a taker on the site and raely have anything to pass back to you all :( , maybe i can set myself a task of finding out a litle gem on LV that you have all previously missed :) (some hope)

    Cheers all

    Steve

They are all bad seats on that plane IMO
only the few highly sought after 2 seats at the back mean you don't sit next to a stranger if you are couple , and they have the downside of landing you at the very back of the queue for Immigration on your outward leg .

You can certainly try for a upgrade ( to premium economy) but i personally i think your chances of getting it for free are about ZERO .

others have purchased the upgrade the day of the flight by going to the check in desk as it opens the day of the flight . costs about £150 quid i think (if i have that wrong guys please correct me)
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

To be honest, I wouldn't bother with that offer. The golf may be free but you are expected to tip your caddie $50 each, and you must have a caddie.
As for the Country Club, we had one of the worst meals ever in that place. Our waiter was so stuck up and was arguing with me as to weather my Fillet Mignon was over cooked or not. He said it wasn't over cooked but the tint from the windows always makes their steak look well done. Tracy's chicken looked like it had been in a fire. We ended up just getting up mid argument and walking out.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
