Sitting at McCarran waiting to board our first flight to Dallas.

Put $5 into a 1c machine at the airport and it hoovered it up. Moved to a 1c Sirens machine, put in $5, had 30c left and it hit for $129! Nice one! Took the money and ran.

What a nice way to end your hols luci:D

Hope you both have a safe trip home x

    Hi,

A group of us are looking to go out to LV in October for a mates 40th birthday. A couple of us a regulars so we have a rough idea of what we want. We've done the big casinos before but we're looking to save a bit of money on the rooms this time.

We're thinking of Bills at the moment (cheap, great location and good reviews). I've had a look around but can't seem to find any promos for this hotel - do they do promos or are we better just to book directly?

    there you go , a Bill's offer 3 posts back :T:T:T

like others have said Bill's is a very tiny Joint in Vegas terms so they often don't need to shift rooms .

BTW saw STAR TREK tonight ....very very good , and everyone came out saying WOW that was brilliant . i am no Trekkie and a pretty harsh film critic , and i give it 2 thumbs up
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Completely off topic , i am no Trekkie but i will be going to see the new Movie after The Times gave it a 5 star review, cause any film getting 5 stars from The Times is a very rare event indeed . the last one was 3 years ago i think (United 93).

Just been to see the film, reading this post earlier inspired me to go....and it was absolutely brilliant.:T:T:T

If anyone is looking for a cheap (pretty tacky in a fun way) place to stay, I recommend Excalibur! They have some cheap deals on their website it's centrally located and usually a pretty good deal!

    Hi

I am going to Vegas next week, I dont have a credit card with any available cash, my mum is going to pay for my hotel accomodation before I go, which we will do online, which companies can I use to book before I go that take payment immediately.

I normally use Late rooms, but I always have to pay on arrival. I will have cash so would prefer to pay by cash, but will they ask for a credit card automatically.

    All help appreicated.

    Thanks

And this from the guy who paid $40 for breakfast at Bouchon! ;) I agree, there's one born every minute. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm as bad, one day it's a $200 meal at Switch and a couple of days later it's $3.95 breakfast at La Salsa Cantina.
Hardly the same thing, but nice try.;)
I forgot to mention the reason for the $40 bill. I had 1 coffee at $3.00 then Tracy had 2 cappucinos at $5.00 each!! But of course they don't put the hot drinks prices on the menu. The rest of the stuff was quite reasonable, pastry basket of 4 huge pastries was $14, and parfait was $5
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
