Yes the dress code is.... erm wear clothes.

    Thats it.

As for trips we always book over there, others may do differently.

Also, what type of trip you do is very subjective, personally we prefer coach trips that stop at places rather than flights over them, but our friends on the last trip for example were totally the opposite and flew the Grand Canyon.

    Indeed!

It will be hot - personally, we wore shorts day and night both times we were there in June.

You can see the lows in June are still 20+ and there's a lot of heat radiating from the buildings and sidewalks.

In general there's no specific dress code to go into a casino - clubs will have dress codes though. Most shows don't have dress codes either - the only one we felt underdressed (wearing shorts) at was Bette Midler...but we weren't the only ones in shorts...so if you make more of an effort than we normally do you'll probably be fine.

    Hi,

Been reading through this forum for a while now. Going to Vegas for a week in September, I'm considering doing 4 nights at 1 hotel then 3 nights at another, maybe stay in a slightly cheaper hotel over the weekend then stay 4/5 star during the week, anyone done this or similar and is it worth the hassle of changing hotels?

    Thanks

    Hey,

I'm looking to head to vegas for one week, flying out Monday June 1st and am looking to, in typical MSE style, get as good bargain as I can. I've currently found flights for £299 with net-flights (one changeover in the US - united airways). Is this about the best I can hope for or should I hold out?

Also, I've used the links on the first page but I'm still finding hotels.co.uk cheaper for accomodation, especially given the current promo code there for an extra £10 off per night. The IP is coming out at £24 per night per room, plus taxes. Am I doing something wrong here or is hotels.co.uk just the better option at this time?

    Any advice would be appreciated,

    Cheers,

    Aron

Flights.....Personally I'd bite their hand off at that price. The only way is up.....IMHO

Hotels Check out www.travelzoo.com but go into the US site (in dollars) rather than the UK site and see how the prices compare.

I don't know the details of the hotels.co.uk promo code, but the IP standard hot deals rates from 1st June start at $29 per night plus tax.

It's possible that hotels.co.uk are cheaper - it used to rarely happen, but now it seems somewhat more common...though there are benefits booking direct if prices are comparable.

No!!!!!! I know, I know, we are doing just that this trip, but as a rule it's against our policy, but others like it.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
