    Hi,

A group of us are looking to go out to LV in October for a mates 40th birthday. A couple of us a regulars so we have a rough idea of what we want. We've done the big casinos before but we're looking to save a bit of money on the rooms this time.

We're thinking of Bills at the moment (cheap, great location and good reviews). I've had a look around but can't seem to find any promos for this hotel - do they do promos or are we better just to book directly?
Bills seems to have great reviews, we are going to try it ourselves some day, and we usually only stay in the upmarket places. Can't beat it for location. Have a look at the first post in this thread, all of the major deal scrapers are there
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Thanks. Yeah, tried all of them and none seem to have anything. That's why I thought I'd see if anyone had seen any

hey everyone, this is probably a silly question,as I have booked with a travel agent will I still need to give over my credit card so they, the hotel can put a freeze on money??
If so this will be a problem for my parents who dont have a credit card and do not have enough money in their account to have the charge placed on hold???
This will also be the case with cash as they will need it, any suggestions?
Do you think the best option is to get a credit card in their name, like a second cardholder so the original one is in my name?
Sorry if this is all muddled just started to paninc TIA

Yes it will be a problem (and it's not a silly question -it's a very good one)
If you're travelling with your parents you don't need to mess about with a second card though-The hotel will happilly hit your card for both rooms.

If anyone has any invites for Encore or Wynn deals for the 28th,29th, and 30th of May let me know. I have 31st May. 1st and 2nd June booked and would like to stay the rest but the deal that I got sent before was expensive for the weekend
    Cheers

They have about 200 rooms I think - so teeny-tiny in comparison to most hotels on the strip...I would guess that's why they don't have many promos out there.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

OK Ive made a start on this. Look at

I was thinking.....maybe use it for more than wifi, eg adding on a different colour pin for restaurants, another colour pin for "things to do". I'll test it on the iPhone later too.

    good stuff Froggitt . ;)

I'll post into the guide .
I have two rooms booked for two nights at Paris. Have been reading some awful current reviews on trip advisor. Having said that, I booked it when it was on this site as a good deal back in December so we are only paying $60.00 per room per night so think it should still be worth it? Only thing is we booked it on LVI rewards and aren't members!! Is it worth cancelling to go somewhere else?

advice about Trip advisor reviews : Take with a healthy pinch of salt .

if i was going tomorrow and getting Paris for $60 i would be very very happy .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

    Day 11 HERE

I agree re the TA reviews. I sometimes wonder what these people are expecting, Wynn or Bellagio for Sahara prices?

We were at Paris last week and had no complaints whatsoever. We liked our Red Room Luxury, stoneman thought it was tiny, I thought it was average size. Location can't be beat, it's central for north and south strip. I posted a review HERE
