How was the move back to IP? We did the same as you - stayed checked in at our 'main' hotel and just packed for an overnight...and all I can say is that for each night after the Encore stay I thought how crap the sheets at Bally's were.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I'm biased what with being American, but I love American TV.Well, other than this thing they've started doing with adverts every 8 minutes or something similar...that's insanely annoying.

The Bellagio FountainsRegarding the FairFX ATM limits, had an email back from FairFX to say that the daily limits for ATM withdrawals (different from spending limits using the card as a MasterCard in shops/restaurants, etc) is:
*USD FairFX Currency Card, maximum is $1,000 per day.
*EURO FairFX Currency Card, maximum is €1,000 per day .
This is of course subject to their limits on number of withdrawls which info is on their website.
There is a fraud limit of not more than 3 ATM withdrawals per day and also no more than 10 ATM withdrawals over 4 days, which is intended to protect card holders in the event that their card and PIN are stolen: it stops you being instantly cleared out.
You can still use your FairFX Currency Card as a payment card in, for example, shops and restaurants. This is not affected by ATM withdrawal limits.
I find it odd that they don't list the ATM limits on their website...maybe not odd, but annoying.
Anyway, they are adamant that my inability to take more than $500 at an ATM in Primm was down to the machine and not to a limit on the card (I suppose it could be, though the machine had a $3000 limit).
$1000 per day is obviously not a low limit (certainly a lot higher than Nationwide's Flex Account), but for anyone who was intending to take one big withdrawal when they got to Vegas, it may need to be split.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

No, playing max is not the only way to win - we very, very rarely play max bet (when my husband won $1000+ he was playing 1 credit a line - $1...max was $5 or $10). Just be sure to play all lines, and what you are comfortable with in terms of credits per line...we normally play about $1 per spin. Oh, and I should have said - sometimes you'll hit something good, but other times you won't hit anything at all...I lost $100 in 20 minutes one night last trip - and that was on 5 different machines playing about $1/spin...terrible...but it's not always like that.
The flying balls in the centre sounds like Carnival of Mystery - great game, 3 bonuses and you can (if you're really lucky) play all 3 in the same bonus...but it can be a terrible money-sucker.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Excellent so basically make sure we always play all lines, but maybe only do 1 credit a line...
best to choose a 1 dollar credit machine? any recommendations of machines to play that are good?
