How was the move back to IP? We did the same as you - stayed checked in at our 'main' hotel and just packed for an overnight...and all I can say is that for each night after the Encore stay I thought how crap the sheets at Bally's were. :)

The move back was fine. The IP has new pillows which are much better than the things that were flat as a pancake last time. When we got back hubby just commented on the difference in rooms, but added that he likes the room at the IP. Obviously a fancy room isn't important to us and we're easily pleased wherever we are, but it is to some people.

I do like to try other hotels though, especially the high end ones, but just as happy with basic.

Excellent so basically make sure we always play all lines, but maybe only do 1 credit a line...

best to choose a 1 dollar credit machine? any recommendations of machines to play that are good?

    Rich

Always play all lines, play the number of credits per line that gives a total bet you're comfortable with - there are machines from 9 to 100 lines so playing 1 credit per line would mean you might play $0.09 on one machine and $1.00 on another...big difference there!

I would not play dollar machines (if that's what you're asking?) in most cases myself (not sure if that is what you're asking) - they can be really expensive, obviously. I have a favorite dollar machine at Bally's which I usually play every day, but it's $3/spin so I limit myself to $21 played on that one. :)

One of my favorite penny machines is White Orchid - pennies only (too expensive for $0.05)...but I always play all the 40 lines (1 credit per line), plus the multi-way bet which costs an extra $0.40...so $0.80 total on pennies. It's been good to us, but it's been bad to us too.

One you might like is Goldfish - there are several bonses, but the 'main' bonus is random - it just happens at the end of random spins, you aren't looking for any symbols to line up or come in in groups of 3, etc...if you find the right machine, it will give you a lot of bonuses...you may not win a lot on each, but it keeps it fun. :) Edited to add that to be eligible for the bonus you have to be playing the 'fish bet' which I think is an extra $0.10...so all lines, plus fish bet which I think is $0.30 for 1 credit per line ($0.50 for 2, $0.70 for 3, I think...but check to be sure).

That's pretty much us too...it's nice as a treat to stay somewhere posh, but it isn't worth it to us to stay there for a whole trip - many more things we'd rather spend our money on than high end rooms.

You could play a $1 machine, but if it has 15 lines then that's $15 a spin and far too rich for my blood. If you play a 1c machine with 40 lines, at 1c a line that would be 40c a spin or 2c a line would be 80c a spin.

We usually play all the lines, whether they are 25, 40, etc and just a penny a lline. We looked at eBay, but that was 250 lines so $2.50 a spin so we didn't bother, unless we misunderstood the machine.

It didn't used to be (no way we would have played it)...I think it's one where you choose your total bet (as opposed to X lines and Y credits per line)...maybe $2.50 was max bet?

I know you're multiplier in the community bonus is higher the more you bet.

Yes I did notice it didn't have x lines, but wasn't sure if you needed to bet the max so I have misunderstood it. Might have a go at the minimum which I think is 50c a spin.

Good luck! I saw a great community bonus ($60+ on the main game, so multiplied by each players' multiplier)...haven't had any luck on it myself though the first time we played it we did at least get to play the bonus...won about $10 (bonus was about $3 times 3x multiplier), but hey, $10 is $10. :)

Yes the Spice Market buffet is very good. I hope you printed off the coupons for $5 off.

If you aim to be there around 10.15-10.30am, they change over to lunch at 11 and start bringing out the lunch stuff.
