Has anyone noticed that sturll has been very quiet since the Hatton fight:rolleyes:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Just back from the MSE meet with pebbles, funkyfin and TangoBunny. It was great, but we had to leave early as we had just bought tickets to Cher for tonight. $140 tickets for $59.50! Now that's money saving!

    Day 12 HERE
Really disappointed that we didn't have more time at the meet. It's a pity we didn't have it at 2pm instead of 4pm.

As for Cher............... well the jury's out. I wasn't bothered about seeing her anyway, it was hubby that was keen, and she didn't do anything to change my mind.

I think you are confusing money saving with throwing money away. $140 down to $60 is only a saving if the product is worth buying in thew first place.

Well I'm on holiday and save all year doing money saving things so that I can blow it right, left and centre once I'm here.

The only real way to find out if it was worth it was to go.

Did you get your wedding booked?

My GF changed er mind at the weekend and she wants to get married in Sorrento now- playing wolfrun on that betting site I want to weep- _pale__pale_

Girls! We always change our minds :D
We booked Jesmond Dene House in the end. Not actually the most expensive venue we looked at, but it's still a HUGE cost and then some, but it IS the venue for us, so we're really pleased. Sorrento would be lovely for a wedding. When your GF eventually decides what she wants, book it quick and then she'll stop looking for alternatives! :rotfl:
Are you going out to Vegas this year?

Luci - I'm loving your trip report. "went out the back of 12". I'm Scottish so it made me smile. OH picks me up on my Scottish-ness all the time.....
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!

I agree...for that price we would have gone to see Cher, no question...could lose more than that in 90 minutes in the casino, after all. :)

Glad you got to play ebay and got a chance at the bonus so quickly - we did the same as you as soon as we got the bonus, we cashed out...because really, that was what we were there for. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
