The Bellagio FountainsDont worry nvh I wont miss any of them I'd spend half my holiday in the Guess shops alone of the hubby would let me. Loved the ones in the Fashion Show Mall & MMile even though there not the discount shops any are a bonus to me compared to the prices I have paid for Guess stuff here. Bet you Mrs was well happy with $25 bags thats a right bargin!
Also got my voucher for Macy saved already cos like you say I spotted a few bits and bobs in there last year.
Thanks a lot guys your the best!0 -
The Bellagio FountainsWhere do you find the time of day to look all this stuff up!!
Honest, you are a google whizz.
We didn't know about the tax stuff so thought we would play it safe. I can't get my head around how you would have to pay tax on a slot win and not a table game win though.
So if he had hit 6 points, that pays out 1000 to one so we would have been liable, but how would they know. Unless at that point they brought a supervisor down to sort out the forms, we could just walk away with the winnings and cash them in a little at a time
I do have a compulsion to look things up, but in this case, I'd read it before...the difference between how slots and table games are treated is something that gets debated here and there quite a lot...it's silly.
My assumption is that had the shooter hit 6 points, paperwork would have been done - perhaps the croupier stops play and each player is paid out when the paperwork is done? That way people can't leave without the paperwork unless they leave without the chips?
I really don't know for sure...someone going to Vegas shortly should really have it happen to them and report back...the way I figure it, my husband hit for $1267 - then you hit for $2,500 (I'm ignoring the $800 for these purposes)...by my maths, that means someone from here is due to win $5,000 in the next week or so.
So someone should get right on that.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsI don't know if this is helpful or not, but netflights have some sub-£300 flights from London to Vegas in August and September.

Looks like they're sold as Air France flights, but are operated by Delta, at least on the days I've checked.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio Fountainsoh my god.
now I feel terrible about posting a negative review of him...seriously...that's really sad...he was really talented, I did say that...but I feel so bad for his wife and kids.
Don't feel bad ferf. You gave an honest review which is what we would all rather have than have something dressed up. All any of us can do it give our own opinion on something which may or may not agree with other people's. The IP is a case in point. Some of us don't have a problem with it and anothers do. Everyone's opinion is valid.
Danny Gans had never appealed to me as I felt his stuff would be too "American" for me to understand or enjoy.0 -
The Bellagio FountainsImpostor spotted outside Planet~Ho. Tracy said he had more personality then me:rolleyes:The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

The Bellagio Fountainsc_l_a_i_r_e wrote: »Ok which part of the canyon do you want to go? The west rim is closest to the strip and is where all the helicopter tours from vegas go to. Its considered to be less scenic than the south rim, which is where Grand Canyon National Park itself is. The south rim is further from vegas, about a 5 hour drive. Tours there are usually by plane or coach, or you could just rent a car and drive there yourself. You won't be able to get a helicopter trip there straight from vegas.
You mention lunch on the canyon floor, as far as i know this can only be done at the west rim where certain helicopter tours land on the canyon floor for a half hour and serve a picnic lunch. Narrow down what rim what you want to go to first before you start looking at tours.
Thanks for the reply claire.I think west rim would be the best as we would love to land on the canyon floor.Helicopter it is then.Does anyone out there know any good deals??0 -
