Thanks for the continuing trip report Luci, i'm really enjoying it. You're certainly making the most of your trip. Just wondering though, you had a bad day gambling today and the MGM was robbed the night before...... I hope you've got a good alibi set up:rotfl:.

Tangobunny, are you on your way soon, when are you flying out??

I'm flying Virgin from Gatwick on Tuesday Stew
I'm no-where near as organised as Luci but I may take some of her ideas for my own itinerary....I'm afraid we tend to be more impulsive....if I see a show or restaurant we like the look of then we just go on spec as it were....I have made a list of things I'd like to do and places I want to visit but haven't booked a thing

Also wondering about internet access, would you know what the charge is for access in the room?

    Lee

I believe it was $13.99 per 24-hour period when we were there.

I've read elsewhere that one of the on-site restaurants (Sugar and Ice) has free WiFi though.

Hey, stoneman - how was Paris? Did you get upgraded to a Red Room?
Paris was OK, made a hash of the $40 trick though. She said she could find us a nice room with a view or a Red room without, then found that if we stayed in the first choice for the first night she could move us to a high up Red room with a view for the rest of the stay, so we opted for that.
Anyway, the first room was a suite!!! but the view wasn't great. By the next day when we got to the Red room it was tiny, and the tower was right smack in the middle of our view of the fountains. Wish we had stayed in the first room. Would stay there again but wouldn't carp for a Red room, would hope to get a suite. Ask for a "P" room, that was the type of suite we got
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

With Breakfast costing $14, Lunch $15.50 and Dinner $25/28 and thsi offer for 2 people eah day and rooms from aound $50 per night a continous pass is too good to be true, in fact 2 free a days is probably too good to be true but you never know.

Personally I would be amazed if this is even a free buffet, my feelings are that this will be a line pass only and that you will have to pay for the buffet, if you get one free a day you have done amazingly well, it is a very good buffet.

Most offers are per stay and the fact that this is per day screams to me it will only be a line pass.

Just a warning, NWA and Delta are now charging for a second bag, $50!!
I phoned them and asked that as I had booked last year when it was a 2 bag allowence that I should be able to get what I had paid for at the time (although I only paid £195). No dice, they are insisting that all travelers will be charged for second bag.
