Congratulations on the excellent win stoneman. Bet you were grinning for ages after that.

    Next instalment HERE

There are a lot of Brits in Vegas at the moment because of the Hatton v Pacquiao fight.

Filled in the ESTA a few months ago and the green VW on the plane.

Went through immigration at LAX a week ago and got a really nice officer. He asked if I had completed the ESTA. I said I had and got the copy out of my bag and asked if he wanted to see it. He said he didn't as he could see that I had completed it.

There are a couple of new questions on the VW. They now ask for your mobile number and email address, but unless you have a very short email address you will struggle as there is only space for a few characters.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Hi Luci

Sound like your having a brill time out there, am not jealous at all haha!

In you latest update you mention the VIP shoppers discount card and being able to buy one... How do I get one as I love Guess (I bought that many handbags last time I dont know how I got them all home) and that would be a right bonus for me. Sorry if Im asking and its already been explained but I couldnt see anything.

    Thanks a lot, Candice

    Right guys, quandry time :D

Our first two nights in Vegas are booked in Ballys.... (its a cheap deal so will be the cheap tower - is that North tower).

From my understanding the North tower (or whatever the cheaper one is called) has a good view of the Bellagio fountains, but the rooms are better in the South tower?

To be honest as long as the rooms are ok, we would rather have the better view of the Bellagio so question is...

Should I bother trying the $20 trick to get South Tower or are North Tower rooms ok?

The South tower rooms are the cheap ones. They are also the ones with the Bellagio view. No tip required, just ask for a fountain view.

Hi, I think Luci means this booklet:

    https://www.premiumoutlets.com/vip/

You enrol on their website and you can download the vouchers for extra discounts. And the enrolment works for all Chealsea Premium outlet including the LV ones and for example the New york one. This is extremely handy.

Concerning Guess, last year in LA at the outlet I also had a booklet (no idea I could have printed it from the website - was given one by the coach tour I was in) and when I got to Guess there were 2 stores: Guess and Guess accessories and I had to choose how to optimize the use of the voucher because both stores had different bags, sunglasses and watches!! The SA was really nice and gave me the coupon back so I was able to use it in both stores. But print a few if possible in case there is more than 1 store.

don't forget the 'Guess' shop in Fashion Show Mall... they have some cracking offers in there too even though it's their 'retail' shop... when we were there they had an additional 50% off sale prices... sale prices which were already at least 50% off! Missus went mad in there...! got some nice handbags for $25 each which she was well chuffed with!

Also Macy's sell cheap Guess t-shirts so worth a look there too (whether these are out of season or whatever i have no idea... but don't forget you can get the 11% discount for Macy's from their 'visitor centre' shed... I mean room... just for showing your passport / ID :D)

Thanks pcg. Yes that's the coupon for the discount card. You usually have to spend a certain amount to get the discount, but with the great bargains at the moment that's not hard.

I know about the Macy's 11% card. However I'm sure I've read people getting one for other stores at th FSM. Does anyone know if this is correct and which other stores it would be? Bloomingdales rings a bell.
