The Bellagio Fountains1st 4 nights Flamingo, 2nd 4 Ballys 3rd 4 Paris £546, not bad eh! If we substitute Planet Hollywood for Flamingo it will be £592. Stratosphere was going to cost us £474 for 14 nights so to be on the strip the whole time and having a change of scenery it is not too bad. Will pay a bit extra for that.
Well done ajmoney:T You won't regret changing your plans from the stratosphere, and you've chosen good hotels in great locations.
One thing to point out is that the pools at paris and ph don't look that great, while Flamingos looks fab so it might be worth factoring that in if a pool is important to you (no idea about the pool at Ballys though).:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
I think dropping the Strat is a good idea -the Deuce will get you there but it's slooooow
4 hotel changes in 14 nights might get a bit stressful with packing and unpacking -suits some people but not others though.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

The Bellagio FountainsJust booked 2 nights in the panoramic suite in Planet Hollywood at the end of August. Normally the room is over $600 per night but there's an offer on Travelzoo (US Site) at the moment for only $199 per night. Other suites available too. Can't wait now :-)
That panoramic suite looks great gazzer. I'm tempted even though i don't really like ph:rotfl: Here's the link to the offer for anyone else who is interested:

Thanks Claire
We are not bothered about a pool, just having a great experience so it will probably be Planet Hollywood instead of Flamingo.
Would you book shows before you go or when you arrive and what shows do people recommend?MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

All 4 are really close to each other so I suppose will be easy enough to move, though not sure I would want to make the effort to move to a hotel so close to the last one?
Have you looked at the Harrah's Hot Deal rates? I think you could do better than your £546.
http://www.harrahs.com/hot-deals/
You can select Las Vegas and then bring up a screen with all their Vegas hotel rates for your period to compare.
I haven't looked at any special offers for your dates but the Hot Deals are available to anyone and seem that you could do better than what you've already found, maybe?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Bally's pool is just a rectangle but does have a deep end (12 feet) which I understand is rare in Vegas...it's also not usually too crowded.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Thanks for all comments. It will be:
4 nights Flamingo or Planet Hollywood
4 nights Ballys
2 nights Grand Canyon
4 nights Paris

We usually book at least one show before we go, usually one that we've found an offer on online ie 30% off. We're going in July as well so i'll be keeping an eye on travelzoo and smartervegas to see what offers come out over the next few weeks.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
The Bellagio FountainsWould you book shows before you go or when you arrive and what shows do people recommend?
For us it depends on how much we want to see the show (would we be disappointed if we didn't see it?), what discounts are available before we go and how likely discounts will be when we arrive - so really relative to what particular show we're interested in. This last trip we booked both before we left because we could get good discounts booking in advance and avoid queuing at the discount ticket booths once we were in town. As for which ones we recommend, really depends on what you like. Currently Love is the one we're most likely to recommend (and Danny Gans is the one we would suggest everyone run screaming from)

Have you considered changing one of your hotels (Ballys maybe) to a different location like ferf said. Maybe consider Mirage or TI further north strip, or MGM/NYNY further south? Theres some great rates for mirage floating about ($58 midweek) for example.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
