I agree Pebbles and the most I ever had to wait for a lift was 5 minutes most of the time there was no-one else waiting but us
The newer hotels are designed with lifts in mind......loads of them, really fast, seperate ones for lower floors/higher floors etc.

Venetian do it really well......Caesars Classic tower lifts suck like their rooms.

    Gordylad my choices would be:

    Breakfast: Verandah
    Lunch: Mon Ami Gabi
    Dinner: Olives (patio)

These are my favourites that i have to go to at least once now on every trip. I love the food at all 3 but also the atmosphere which is why i'd chose them over any others:D

For breakfast I also like the Wynn buffet and Cafe Bellagio. Other favourite casual lunch/dinner options include Burger Bar at MB, California Pizza Kitchen at Mirage and Grand Luxe Cafe at Palazzo.

I agree with others though that i could never do three meals a day. We usually do breakfast or lunch and then dinner.

I wouldn't rate Excalibur as worse than IP, but yes I would broadly agree with that list. Bear in mind I have stayed in either E or IP, thats just my impressions from visiting both.

I thought you were looking at hotels around the $40 mark, i can't imagine Paris and PH are anywhere near those rates:confused: (Or have i confused you with someone else:o)

1st 4 nights Flamingo, 2nd 4 Ballys 3rd 4 Paris £546, not bad eh! If we substitute Planet Hollywood for Flamingo it will be £592. Stratosphere was going to cost us £474 for 14 nights so to be on the strip the whole time and having a change of scenery it is not too bad. Will pay a bit extra for that.

I know that only comes to 12 nights but we are going to the Grand Canyon for 2 nights as well. Our total travel costs should be around £850 (without a car added in)
