I would be happy with that :T it was about what we found (flying out Sept 28th) but as we are also staying 4 nights in Chicago on the way back American turned out best for us if a bit dearer. Is it with Air France flying Delta ?

Stop dithering and book you know you want to.:j

Ha ha! thanks for that. I actually found one for £327 but by the time my friend got back to me, it had gone. That was this afty, just had another look and they're back on but with a longer connection in Atlanta - don't suppose they would put us on an earlier flight if there were spaces like they used to when I worked in IBZ and had to connect in Majorca.

Was AF/Delta - the others I have now seen seem to be purely Delta.

if you want a traditional Vegas show girl show then Jubilee is the way to go IMO. it is not sleazy at all and has some great intermission acts as well .

LVA rewards booklet ( used to be called book of values )

I have never seen Jubilee at the half price booths and tickets cost around $88 so spending as little as $37 to get a whole book of great coupons is Quite the deal . given your looming departure date it might best for you to collect the book in person at their office's in LV

I sent for the 24/7 Magazine a week ago and it arrived today! There is a coupon in it for half price Jubilee tickets, $35 instead of $70.

This is taken from the terms of conditions of booking on the netflights site:
    One Way Rentals
A one way rental is any hire where the drop-off depot is different from where the vehicle was collected. One way rentals are available on a request and confirmation basis only, and will incur a "One Way Fee" based on the distance, in miles, between the two depots and not the distance driven during the hire. These fees are shown below.

These one way Fee's are paid on collection of the vehicle, it isn't possible to pre pay these.

Please Note - There is no fee for one way rentals within the states of Florida and California, or for one way rentals between the states of California, Arizona and Nevada.

Based on that i'd say it was just a standard message. For peace of mind though you could call them on 08007470000 to confirm before booking.

ETA: I can't see that message when i proceed with a booking on the netflights site? Did you get that message on both sites?

Yes I got the message once I had clicked on the car that I wanted, I think my mind has been put at rest now thanks!

Ever the optimist, I reckon 4 hours will be less stressful anyway because I think we'll also go through immigration in Atlanta so we don't have to worry about dashing through that then we can go for a mooch around the shops and possibly even a quick bevvy!

The other option, should you arrive in good time and clear immigration quickly would be to collect your bags and not take them to the recheck area to drop them off - take them with you to the check-in counter, ask about an earlier flight, and if they say no, give them your bags then (they'll already be tagged through to your final destination)...not sure if it would be worth the hassle as you won't know what sort of queue you will hit at check-in until you're stuck standing in it and even then there wouldn't be a guarantee you'd be able to get on an earlier flight. I'm personally of the 4 hours being less stressful view (I'm terribly anxious when it comes to anything involving queues and always sure something's going to go wrong). :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Probably my last post before heading out to Heathrow tomorrow (staying over and are going to try to blag seats on the early flight out instead of the 2pm- on friday-hoping bank holiday chaos might work in our favour)

Have a great time Duchy and Ferf, will bear that in mind!
So, took the plunge and booked our flights last night! Got a good deal with netflights.com and worked out cheaper to go for 6 nights rather than 5. To offset the cost of an additional night, we've booked our first night at the Imperial Palace. It worked out at £12 odd for the room (not each!) using Martin's £10 discount with Hotels.com and as we only land at 9pm its ideal really just to have a quick shower, get our heads down then in the morning hop on the monorail and (hopefully) spend the next 5 nights @ the MGM.
Thanks for all the sage words guys, now I'll be pestering about shows etc! :rotfl:
