I have received an email from MGM Mirage with discounts for O and Love. For O it's 25% off and strangely, for Love it's 25% or 40% off.

I tried to see if the 25 & 40% were for different dates, but every time I clicked on the link I got an error page asking me to try again or call the box office.

However I have just managed to access the site and it seems that the 25% discount is available for both the 7pm and 9.30pm shows. The 40% is available for both, but not at the weekend. Dates go up to 10 September.

Just thought I'd post to let people know there are discounts out there.

Hi, could anyone help me regarding a one way car rental between Las Vegas and San Fransisco.

I need to rent a car from Las Vegas on 7th August 2009 and return it to San Fransisco on 10th August 2009.

At the moment I am a bit confused by all the one way rental fees and was wondering who the best company is to book car hire with. I dont want to be lumbered with a huge fee at drop off.

Are there any companies who don't charge these fees?

Last year we used usacarhire and traveled from San Fransisco to Las Vegas via Yosemite and Los Angeles. The company were great and much cheaper than others. We had a brand new car. No charges and plenty of places/hotels to pick up in Las Vegas.

Have a fantastic time, we did.

What is going on with car hire rates!! Have just been looking for our trip later this month and the cheapest I can get is £179 (£172 with Quidco) through netflights for 8 days full size. we normally pay about £130 for 7 days for the same car. Been looking over at Open Vegas and someone else mentioned the same thing. Seems that the car hire places have off loaded loads of the vehicles due to the recession and the prices have gone up across the board with every company.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
