    Hey everyone,

We're off to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks to get married.

Can anyone please recommend any rock/metal bars/clubs or anywhere playing live music (preferably rock).

I know there is obviously the Hard Rock but any other suggestions would be much appreciated. I've tried googling but am not having much luck.

    Thanks

    Daniel
Just remembered that Carnaval Court between Imperial Palace and Harrah's always seems to be having Rock bands playing. And it is free.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

MGM Grand, Flamingo, Mirage, Paris, caesars palace, encore, mandalay bay resort & casino, hard rock hotel, any really they all similar prices.

Oh I dont know which one to choose from they all look good on the pictures.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
Encore, without a doubt. Next Caesars only because you can bribe the front desk with $50 to get you into the Augustus tower. Next Mandalay Bay because of their pool, but a bit far south of all the action for me.
It seems really strange that all of those properties are in the same price bracket, I mean come on, Flamingo the same price as Encore.!!

yeah just seen that which is great...

24/7 mag is for April not May so may ask for another one in about a weeks time........although most things are valid of course....

    Is jubille a topless show??

No point in requesting another one until 1st May as they don't come out in advance. May's won't be much different from April's.

You can pick one up in Vegas in the back of taxis and they often hand them out just south of PH, but you may miss those if you say "No thank you" to everyone that offers you stuff, thinking it's timeshare or similar.

Encore is only £89 more than flamingo so it says on virgin. Im looking at a hols with virgin around £900 - £1100 ish each.

Encore and the Palazzo are 5 star, Flamingo is 3 star so it's no contest. We have stayed at the Palazzo and the rooms are very plush. Staying at the Encore in May. The Palazzo is slightly more central and a year older than the Encore.

The restaurants, etc are obviously 5 star prices, but you don't need to eat where you stay.

Encore and Palazzo top. Ab fab.

Caesars and MB next, although MB is stuck at the bottom of the strip...IMHO too far to walk to the mid strip areas eg FSM, Venetian. Also Caesars Classic rooms suck bigtime, so if you choose CP, you must upgrade somehow from the dump rooms.

    Then MGM, Mirage, Paris.

Id put TI just below that group.

    Flamingo bottom.

Dunno about Hard Rock....never been there, never stayed there.....off strip I think!!!

    Agree with lucis star ratings.

Palazzo about 5 min walk south of Wynn and another 5 min from Encore.

Grand Lux in Venetian (attached to Palazzo, although I think Palazzo has the same) not 5 star prices.....maybe $60 for starter and main for two. Bouchon for brekkie in Venetia is 5 star prices.....about the same $60 for two!!!

Fabulous place to have breakfast, especially if you can snag an outside table. They even give you little cakes to munch on while you wait for your table for free. Doesn't have to cost a lot, we have the pastry basket between 2 of us and it costs about $15
