Oddly, while I was an absolute tomboy growing up I was fascinated by the Miss USA pageant and LOVED watching it every year..
That would have been when it was at the Convention Centre in Atlantic City. I played football in there once.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

son wants to see the Hatton fight at MGM, but doesn't want to pay top dollar for tickets. Will there be anywhere showing it on large screen? We are staying at Signature so will have a giant telly, but no atmosphere. & who wants to stay in while in Vegas?

Not sure if it will be on Pay Per View at other hotels. I'm sure I read that it would only be on PPV if the actual fight sold out, which I don't think it has, but I could be havering.

On the MB website there's a link to buy tickets to a closed circuit screening of the fight, costing $50:

Hi, could anyone help me regarding a one way car rental between Las Vegas and San Fransisco.

I need to rent a car from Las Vegas on 7th August 2009 and return it to San Fransisco on 10th August 2009.

At the moment I am a bit confused by all the one way rental fees and was wondering who the best company is to book car hire with. I dont want to be lumbered with a huge fee at drop off.

Are there any companies who don't charge these fees?

One of the easiest ways to get there if you're not familiar with the local roads and have a rental car is go east on Flamingo until you hit Boulder Highway, then turn onto Boulder Highway south - it's pretty much right there.

Also, there's a shuttle to Sam's Town from Harrah's and Riviera.

There's a very new casino near Sam's Town too - Eastside Cannery, opened last fall. We plan to check it out when we're there.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Pinky, have a look on netflights.com:
    http://www.netflights.com/Carhire/MultiAvailability.aspx?pd=LAS&dd=SFO&pl=LAS&pdt=07-08-2009-12-00&dl=SFO&ddt=10-08-2009-12-00&ct=____&pax=1

There is no extra fee for one way rentals between nevada and california, so no extra fee when you drop the car off. The price you're quoted includes all the insurance you need as well.
